    BigDaddyOldDude The idea of not criticising Israel even from the right, is not a good idea. Suppose the Israeli government do something you disagree with like the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif. You think you shouldn't speak of that? Israel has more than enough attacks from the left, so even if a person think Israel uses too much force, kills too many civilians, is an illegal occupier, there is no point in yelling about it, rather they should yell that the criticism is over the top. It's the demonization of Israel that is the problem. It being singled out for criticism. Criticism from the right is fine. Honest and FAIR criticism is fine. If you are don't have any criticism and are just a voice of the israeli government, as this rabbi champions like how menachem begin was when in america, then your own views are not taken seriously, because you are not being open and you are being just an advocate rather than an honest/unbias judge. .
