My name is Melody and I am a planner enthusiast. I figured it would be fun to have my first TH-cam video be my hobonichi unboxing. I love hobonichi planners and look forward to launch season every year.

Also I have bought my first hobonichi this year and wanted the spyxfamily cover but had to go for the plain ones (too many expenses this month! may buy something else if I can before the next year comes). Hope to see more videos from you soon :)

That’s one of the main reasons I love the paper Hon. You get a pretty planner and still get to use all the covers.

Great first youtube video, and great haul! I would totally trade you the bat cloud cover I got for that green floral pattern cover, your least favorite was actually the one design I wanted most but didn't get 😅 For next year, I got the Cousin Avec, an A5 Hon in the Liberty Fabrics cover, and the Harvest Plaid Weeks. Currently waiting on a splurge last minute buy from Jetpens, the A5 Cafe Au Lait Plaid zipped cover, which I really shouldn't have gotten because pricey but YOLO I guess? lol
Thank you! I was so nervous 😬 Would you really trade? How do you like using the Avec? I thought about going that route but I don’t know how I feel about 2 books. Those are all beautiful covers! 😅 I wanted to get a zip cover but I hate how expensive they are.
@@melody_plans HECK YEAH I would totally trade! Next year will be my first year using the Avec, so we'll see how it goes, planning on making it my 'messy' planner while I keep the Hon to journaling and pretty spreads. The only other A5 cover I have is the Inuyasha cover from 2022(?), but I wanted something more compact to carry around with me. My wallet's praying it's the only A5 cover I buy 😂

I got a cousin, A6, and 2 weeks. I also bought the Spy Family A5 cover and pencil board to match. I bought the A6 and weeks Tragen covers.
Nice lineup! I LOVE the spy family collection this year. Do you like the Tragen covers? I’ve been eyeing them but I don’t know if the flap would get in the way.
I mean, you don't actually have to wait for next year to start using the Spy Family cover or pencil boards. Just go ahead and put your current HON in there and get your joy :)
