You have a two book system (planner + journal/commonplace) like me! I think having a designated spot for our creative things, that is separate from our organisational system, takes the pressure off of the planner. I don´t feel the need to make everything pretty in there, and I like being able to be messy in it when I need to without feeling bad about it. I've been using a Kimbor Weeks this year and I got a Hobonichi Weeks for 2025, can't wait for it to arrive! For journaling, I just use a simple dotted A5 notebook. Both of your books are beautiful and I really enjoy your updates. Also, congrats on passing your placement! 🎉
