The auxiliary percussion in this track give it the self-humored nonchalance of Brian Wilson’s interludes in pet sounds and smile. Almost as if Wilson and Jobim composed the soundtrack for Katamari. A piece of sonic poetry.
Says so much......That he took/studied Bossa Nova seriously.....He explored this music with the reverence it deserves, and became close friends with its practitioners....Viva Nakamoto, RIP.....

中野サンプラザのライブに行きました。アルバム未購入で初めて聞く曲ばかりだったのに頭がボーッとするほど心地よくて、30年経った今でもそれを超える経験をしたことがありません。この映像はVHSで持っているのですがもうプレーヤーが無いので、ここで見られて涙が出るほど嬉しいです。

あまり語りたがらない教授ですが、
教授の本質はPOP路線の中にあると思ってます。Annaは後世に残るクラッシックナンバーだと思います。
教授のアルバムは新旧殆ど持っていますが、この辺りの作品(Sweet Revenge と Smoochy)が最も好きです。
