The Indonesian Air Force should sell their Su 27/30s to the Angolan Air Force to be able to afford the Rafale. They would both be saving on maintenance cost if Angola has more of the same aircraft and retire older models. Indonesia has only had their budget drained by these aircraft also because they operate only a limited number.
The first thought on the Angolan Air Force was a great feat keeping the museum pieces flying especially combined with newer high maintenance Russian equipment. My hat is off to them.

I agree, Indonesia should sell all Sukhois.

Angola isn’t even in the top 10 mate and best economy please man Angola’s gdp is 88 billion

Angola is 7th Military force in the continent. As to our gdp, we are usually the 6th economy in the continent. The dicrease in our GDP is because our government decided to pay out debts to western institutions all at once, in other words, we broke dependence to the west.

The 3rd generation fighters will not fair that well on the world stage. They are mostly irrelevant these days. But I have learned countries keep or aquire military hardware based on their personal needs and who they likely will go up against. In other words what an Angola has is appropriate for their possible regional conflicts. Even 6 su 27s and only 12 su 30s wouldn't be enough to fend off or project power in a modern war for control of the skies.
