@Sonia Mondol Do not worry about distance degree because if you have pursued one from UGC recognised University it will just be evaluated as equivalent to a Canadian Masters. I would suggest you do the evaluation through IQAS instead of WES. Although time consuming but the former might prove beneficial. So don't be bothered by wrong information all over the internet.

Typical prices in Canada >House price in Toronto or Vancouver: $1 million or $2100/m rent; Car:$32000; Gas and car insurance:$600/m; Cellphone $80/m; Internet $70/m; Grocery $400/m for family of four; Local transit:$120 per month per person; Drug store items: $80/m: Cloths: $100/m average for family of 4. Dental and eye care: average $150/m for the family. Income tax, sales tax, property tax ,hidden taxes on gasoline, alcohol will eat up at least half of your gross income. Health care levy ($750/y if you make $72k or more. Healthcare is not totally free and does not include dental or eyecare, you need to budget perhaps $150/m for for it.) Canada is overhyped, over prized, frozen, socialist shithole. If you have choice, go to UK, Australia or US.
