Thank you thank you!! So glad you did this video. It has been many years since I threaded this sewing machine. I totally forgot how to do it. The written instructions were not clear. This video was great!!

Thank you so so much. I finally got my first sewing machine at the thrift shop for $5 its beautiful but I've never had to start one myself and this really really helped.
    God bless

Thank you for sharing this!! I've been looking for this tutorial for an hour. My gf gave me one of these and won't take the time to teach me basics, as I have never used a sewing machine before (she's a seamstress by trade, so can't really fault her for not wanting to). This really helped me learn to thread it. Now I can use it, thanks to you. Thank you. 😀😀

I couldn't see clearly cause the quality, actually having a hard time threading my needle and my thread tension, were you able to start sewing?

Allison Rafael , admittedly it was out of focus, it it was just clear enough help to get my machine threaded and I was up and sewing. I couldn't follow the manuals instructions.

Melody Humphrey yes I couldn’t go by the instructions either, it turns out I was missing a part as well that’s why I’ve been having trouble. But thank you!

Great video. I'm thinking these are made for a relative not the world. That being said I'd still really love to know then what? You put the string through the needle and ? Does it just hang ? Do you tie it somewhere? What about the thread from the bobbin , does it go in the needle too ?

Hello, I hope you see this comment and might be able to help me, since I see that this video is from quite a while ago. I have a Singer Auto Wind 600 and have successfully learned how to wind the bobbin. My question is: how do I catch the bobbin thread for a pre-wound bobbin to switch colors without having to wind every time I want to switch? I've seen videos on other types of machines explaining the "fishing line and hooking the thread and catching the fish" theory, but the Touch and Sew machine doesn't have the same components as those machines. Since it's supposed to auto-wind, is there a way to manually uptake the thread after inserting a wound bobbin? Thanks!
