11 years old and still the only one I found that was so clear!!! Good job.
Thank you sooooooo much...very easy to follow and understand. I just bought this program and have NO idea how to do anything, and was able to do this following your instruction :)
Saying thank you to someone who show you something meaningful is been thankful in life. So Thank you for the tutorial.
Thank you so much, I have been watching several videos trying to do this and yours was straight forward and easy to follow. Can't thank you enough.
Great tutorial ... I remove backgrounds so rarely, I never remember how to do it, your instructions very clear to understand. Thanks!
Thank you,
You explained this so well in easy to follow steps.
Thank you for teaching it in slow, understandable terms. The image I was trying to make into round .png had a diffused shadow and selecting a clean circle with no shadow too me about 4 attempts. I tried different tools.
Very comprehensive tutorial! Thank you!
@6:33 you can delete either by hitting delete key on your keyboard or by going to the top menu and going Edit>Delete.
Skip to minute 5 when the tutorial actually starts. Could have squeezed this into 60 secs instead of 12 mins.
After hearing the comments I made a much shorter tutorial that gets to the heart of removing the background much faster (like 5 minutes faster) Thanks for the feedback. th-cam.com/video/Ew-kz7CHg9o/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for the very clear video! I was able to do most of what I needed. Now I have to figure out how to change the color of the logo font. I'll check out your other videos. Thank you!
After you performed multiple selections of the white area using the Shift key, Sorry, I listened to it a few times. I was NOT able to hear how you display it in transparent mode ? Can you please show me what you click/select to display it in transparency mode ?
Thank you so much for this! I didn't want to draw anymore because I couldn't make it how I wanted it so now I am back into it. Thank you so so so so much!!! :D :D
Thank you. Very clean and neat work.

John- I'm trying to make a logo file transparent in PS Elements 6 and place it over an image in Quark. I've followed your instructions and everything works exactly like you have in your tutorial, but it still shows up with a white background once I place the file in Quark (v. 6.5). The original file is a logo created using type in Quark and saved as an EPS file. Any thoughts as to why I'm having trouble? Thanks.
thank you for posting this video , i am still using Elements 8 :)
you did great you helped out alot i learned more theen what i did in school thanks -azstar
Then my last question is, does Elements 6 allow me to create a clipping path? Or do I need the full version?
DC, I would agree with you. Thanks for the feedback.
Loved it GOOG JOB
Hmm. That sounds odd. What version of Quark are you using? It looks like in older versions of Quark that the program does not support transparencies.
Is saving it to a png file the ONLY way to preserve the transparency?
I am not an expert in with Quark, I know this technique works with Indesign. I did a quick search and found a forum on your issue: "quark 6.5 does not support transparent import unless you use a clipping path in photoshop and save as EPS, or TIF from photoshop, this however does mean you can only have sharp edges, not feathered." TH-cam does not allow me send a link in a response.
So easy - thank you
Thanks so much!! this helped me a LOT!! Thank you so much
This helped me so much!
Hope I can find the easiest way of cutting and recoloring image that was so detailed and full of lines all i see is simple logos and designs :(

Hi! This didn't address removing the transparent pixels from an image. I'm trying to apply a round image to a T-shirt, but the transparent pixels turn out white. I googled "remove transparent pixels in Photoshop Elements" and your video turned up. In Photoshop, I would go to Image -- Trim, but Elements does not have that option. Anyone provide some help? Thanks!
I'm sorry to have to ask this, but I need the beginner course, you know, like kindergarten for adults...I am unfamiliar with the lingo or what the tools do. I need to get the background off the photos...that's all I needed. I wonder if there are adults such as myself who didn't grow up with technology and require the same type of education (simple language, don't backtrack on your sentences, etc.)
How can i turn off the subtitles?
name of this PS please :)

"I'm not sure if nothingness is a word...but it works here"
literally lol xD
Thank you :)
Get to the point quicker with less gibberish.
The new adobe it's very hard to use, I can even use gimp better
any one know how to remove the transparency back ground?
put a background, just add a colored layer underneath the logo layer
I like brocily
this way won't work with complex pics
i luv u
Can you email me? You can go tot Visual Broccoli and go to contact and I can send you instructions.
Yep. That's a lot of time wasted in getting to the point.
