I tried this recipe, I love pesto, and normally add abit of tomato sauce cause it can be dry after being in the freezer. I love the addition of the ricotta it makes it nice and creamy, very delicious, I’ll be adding it to my recipes.
I usually use Parmigiano Regiano as the topper/garnish and incorporate the cheaper parmesans into my sauces. I find that it's challenging to spot the difference in the cheeses when cooked but when they're grated freshly the difference is truly night and day The dish looks spectacular though, good job
Oh yum. This is going on my menu plan, looks delicious sounds amazing. Good to hear 3 of your little signature whispers in there too. Your recipes have been such a lifesaver for me when I’m struggling to make something good but not hard to do, also your tips along the way, like mini master class. I wish I could eat at the restaurant you cook at. Thank you for this video and many others that have helped me out of a food rut
Fantastic to hear! I’m so glad it’s helpful to you. That’s the complete goal of this channel to help as much as I can. Means a lot to hear. I don’t work in restaurants anymore 🙏🙏
@@ChefJackOvens well I guess it’s less stressful being out of a restaurant, we benefit from your knowledge though and that’s great for me. I couldn’t even cut an onion properly till I saw how you did it so the onion is all even. Thank you and I look forward to more of your videos
🤤😋 Every time I add cracked pepper to a recipe or dish I'm making your ghostly voice of "20 cracks worth" lives freely in my mind... though I do sometimes get carried away... and I combine everything and "leave the ingredients to become friends" yes that phrase also jumps to mind. Cooking since I was 14 or 15 years old and in a month your vocabulary took over my brain whenever I cook😂
Hey jack just a quick one whenever I use you links on mobile to the chopping board and ceramics etc on mobile it comes up with “Oops we cannot find the page your are looking for” 😊
Just realised you already got over 1M subs, congrats man! Been watching your videos since your first ever meal prep, what a journey! Really happy for you, cheers

Would subbing plain Greek yogurt work instead of the ricotta?
That looks delicious! I might try that. Any idea what the calories are?
Thank you for your video! Do you have a recipe for tri-tip mushroom soup without the cream?
That sauce does look creamy with all that cheese. Delicious thanks Jack. X
This one is a definite must try. Very tasty
Thanks 🙏
No worries
What is best to use if you do not have a food processor?
Thank you for your video
Great recipe Jack 👍❤️🇬🇧
Thank you 😋
Hey Jack, where do you get the walnuts and pine nuts? Does those two come together in a packet at woolies?
Hey! No I buy them separately. They’re interchangeable and pretty much any nut can be used as pine nuts are expensive
@@ChefJackOvens Thanks Jack, beautiful recipe as always. ❤
Love it when you whisper 😅😅😅
3 times today…it’s one of his fun signatures, like he is letting us in on a secret. Which I guess he is
yummy 🤩🤩
You had me at pasta! 🤤
Haha
That is such a creamy and delicious looking pasta😋😋😋 just finished dinner and my stomach is wanting that bowl😂😂😂
Delicious 😋
keep the good work up 😁
Thank you 🙏
liked all of apart from the tomatoes[i know its very italian] but is there a alternative to that?
the alternative is don't add them
I recommend leaving them out
Roasted Peppers or Sauteed mushrooms with some garlic would be pretty good if you wanna add another veggie

Tomatoes in airfryer? Will it work?
It should work. Also, probably would take less time.
Looks delicious. 👍
Thank you 🙏

Can we replace cilantro with another herd that has the green but not that soapy taste?
Cilantro isn’t in this
Could this work with red pesto? 😊
