Russ, A million thanks! FINALLY someone on you tube who educates like a college professor. What a joy and enlightenment it is to be schooled by you . Thank you so very much for your insightful instruction . Garrett, Minneapolis
Ahh the memories - I spent my weekends from the age of 17 to 21 playing ASL with my mates between 1987 and 1991. I purchased the game in the Virgin Megastore in Dublin (Ireland not Ohio!). We'd set up around 10am on a Saturday morning and keep going until 3am Sunday morning. Even to this day, every so often I find myself looking out on my local landscape in country Meath and converting it into an ASL board!
Thank you for these videos. I haven't played ASL since the late 80's and early 90's. Just ordered the Rule Book and Yanks...they didn't have Beyond Valor but I have plenty of counters from the Starter Kits that I should be able to play the scenarios. I hope.
This is an old recording, probably pre-TH-cam, captured from a flash video on Russ Gifford's website (check it out!). The others have much better sound.
@@stevelenores5637 I believe they are still there, though this will instigate me to finish porting them to TH-cam. www.russgifford.net/asl_training_sessions__new.htm
My God....finally a person on TH-cam who knows how to teach....
Thank you so much....

Thankyou for sharing Very nice job of laying it out ;)
I'm just starting to learn ASL, and these are a great help. Thanks for preserving them!
Hey - THANK YOU for converting these! Who knows - maybe I'll do a new one or two in honor of your efforts! -- Russ
Yes, please make new tutorials. They are excellent!
These tutorials are incredible, Russ. Hope you can find time to make more in the future.
I’m glad you thought of this - I really have liked these over the past few years
Right on time Russ, My Rule book arrived today...
Thanks for taking the time to do this, I would hate to see these lost for future ASL players. :)
Thank you so much for doing this! 'Liked&Subscribed'
Good idea... I loved those tutorials.
Good job, I remember using them in the past as well.

Does anybody know of any clubs/meetup-groups that play ASL in the Albuquerque Area?
Is it just my PC or is the volume kinda low?
It's a little low when I watch it, but not too much. The later episodes are a bit louder.
Speak up!

@@CounterAttack It appears that it no longer exists on his website so this may be the only place to to view the lectures.
