Thank you for yet another great Angelina reaction. I could tell that her song and her voice went directly to your heart. On November 6th, I cried all day for three reasons. First, because of the excitement over the release of Angelina's first single from Republic Records. Second, because of the sheer beauty of "Million Miles" - the music, the lyrics, the production quality and, most importantly, Angelina's astounding voice! Third, I went back to reminisce with some of my favorite reactors over the years (including you). Although I had viewed these reactions many, many times in the past, watching them now in light of this important milestone in Angelina's life and career was very emotional for me. I felt like a father paging through the family photo album just after giving his daughter away at her wedding. The poignant memories about Angelina's youth are now colored with the knowledge that she has grown up and taken a huge step in her life. Rubix, this is the release of a cut from her new album. Originally she was to release the album of 12 songs all written by her, under her own label. After signing the contract with Republic Records on Aug 28 it was decided that the album would be released under the Republic Records label. This song is about the loss of her grampa about two years ago. She sang, "Always On My Mind" by Willy Nelson, a few weeks after her Gramp's death. She dedicated "Return To Me" written by Bonnie Hunt and Don Lake to her Grampa as well, about a year ago. She wrote, "Million Miles" for this album. "This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine. ."-Angelina Jordan. It blew my socks off and to think there are 11 more songs on that album. She is the best female vocalist to ever live.
Brings back memories for me too. Such a beautiful audio and visual experience. Another TH-cam reactor remarked that her songs are "therapeutic" and I agree. She has an uncanny ability to drag emotions out of us, in a good way and I for one always feel better after listening to AJ singing, any song, any where.........

Well, I’ve listened and watched over, and over, and over now, and lost count. I can truly say that the Lyrics in this song are unbelievable for someone so young to have written. Thank you for yet another great Angelina reaction. I could tell that her song and her voice went directly to your heart. On November 6th, I cried all day for three reasons. First, because of the excitement over the release of Angelina's first single from Republic Records. Second, because of the sheer beauty of "Million Miles" - the music, the lyrics, the production quality and, most importantly, Angelina's astounding voice! Third, I went back to reminisce with some of my favorite reactors over the years (including you). Although I had viewed these reactions many, many times in the past, watching them now in light of this important milestone in Angelina's life and career was very emotional for me. I felt like a father paging through the family photo album just after giving his daughter away at her wedding. The poignant memories about Angelina's youth are now colored with the knowledge that she has grown up and taken a huge step in her life. While we will follow and support her in whatever the future holds, she will always be the little girl we have come to know and love. Could someone please pass the tissues??

I've cried often when hearing this song
Rubix, this is the release of a cut from her new album. Originally she was to release the album of 12 songs all written by her, under her own label. After signing the contract with Republic Records on Aug 28 it was decided that the album would be released under the Republic Records label. This song is about the loss of her grampa about two years ago. She sang, "Always On My Mind" by Willy Nelson, a few weeks after her Gramp's death. She dedicated "Return To Me" written by Bonnie Hunt and Don Lake to her Grampa as well, about a year ago. She wrote, "Million Miles" for this album. "This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine. ."-Angelina Jordan. It blew my socks off and to think there are 11 more songs on that album. She is the best female vocalist to ever live.
Brings back memories for me too. Such a beautiful audio and visual experience. Another TH-cam reactor remarked that her songs are "therapeutic" and I agree. She has an uncanny ability to drag emotions out of us, in a good way and I for one always feel better after listening to AJ singing, any song, any where.........
Here's a quote from her book "Mellom to hjerter" ("Between Two Hearts") about the shoeless girl who she gave her shoes to: "It was like there were stairs from the earth to the heavens. And I climb the stairs...."I stand between the heavens and the earth I stand between two hearts.” I believe she experiences a similar feeling when she thinks about her grandpa, and hence the ladder to the heavens in the lyric video. That video and Angelina and Grandma Mery’s artwork were a stroke of pure genius. Unlike many lyric videos it really expressed Angelina’s feelings, and enhanced the viewer’s experience with this emotionally beautiful song.

I lost my daughter 5 years ago and I have listened to this song at least 100 times tonight while crying my heart out while feeling my baby girl all around me, as usual. Well, I’ve listened and watched over, and over, and over now, and lost count. I can truly say that the Lyrics in this song are unbelievable for someone so young to have written. And they truly do come from Angelina’s heart, that’s obvious when you hear them, as does everything she sings or does. Her best original lyrics to date, bar none! Not only does it speak to Angelina’s loss, it speaks to anyone who has lost someone they love. So in addition to her fabulous soothing vocals, her words have the same soothing effect. She’s pure musical genius. The more I listen to the song, the more i love it. BTW, even Angelina feels like we do about the "old soul," as she said, "“I feel like I’ve lived many years more than my age."
