Love the house and all the different furniture.The fireplace was made with the cardboard at the back as I have one and thought the same thing.Some of the 60s and 70s furniture is A bit basic but brown was the colour. Dolls houses past and present is a brilliant website and if you sign up for free there are online articles e very few months too.
These are wonderful little houses aren’t they. It will look gorgeous decorated for Christmas. I’m going to d9 the same with one of mine, just not sure which one yet. I currently have a couple of houses in the lounge but will have to take them out once we start lighting our fire as it gets very dusty during the winter months. That picture looks like it comes from a Lundby house. It will be fun decorating it. 😊

Good Morning, I am after some advice I have purchased a house similar to yours and am renovating it (just started) I am not sure what to paint the outside of the house with, I have started with white emulsion but it looks too white and new. Do you have any advice on this please. x
Hi Beverley, lovely to hear from you. For the body of the house we used a off white/cream emulsion and for the the roof we have used a red gloss. I have re painted the windows too with humbrol enamel paint. What scale furniture are you using 🤔
