Ok. To clear things up. RENT is only (at a minimum) a cast of 14 or 15 people. "Seasons of Love" is the token song. We were just raising awareness of our show in a public place with fliers and a live performance, so, we decided to "flash mob" (considering the overall point of a flash mob, itself.)
Obviously you ppl don't know what a flash mob is. It doesn't have to be certain number of ppl. It's just a surprise in itself. randomly happening in a public place. and some of the cast weren't there so (considering I was one of them :) sooo.... yeah :)
I wonder if a flash mob has ever been interrupted mid song by another flash mob then they battle in out.
If I saw that I would randomly join just cuz I love RENT and love Flash Mobs haha

You've got to have double digits (i.e, 10+) to produce a flash mob... good effort.
