The video was quite helpful however there was one important oversight. The drain line position is far too low, seemly right where the U in the U-Trap is. The function of the U-trap is to retain water so that no gases escape back into the home. By installing it like this, you far increase the rinks of water leaks and gas into the home. You want to position the drain line holder higher( at least 2 inches) on the tailpiece (the straight section that connects to the sink). That being said I see why he did what he did as there's no space for the bracket elsewhere and you definitely don't want to drill past the U-trap(for gas reasons mentioned above). The solution would be to find a different drain assembly or for the purposes of this video.......use a different sink. With the simplest solution above "place the bracket higher" you should be good to go.........BUT is it actually up to Code in the US? that's a whole different story. (This is my first comment ever. So hope it helps! I bought the unit a few days ago and looking forward to installing it tomorrow)

      Agreed, but it's called a P trap.

Straight forward and very helpful. The system seems clearly better than just about all others and almost too good to be true. How often does each filter element need to be replaced? I'm sure it varies depending on the level of source water quality and usage, but do you have a rough range for each? I'm trying to figure out total cost of annual ownership (waste water, electricity, filters) could you point me to any of this information?

Justin V If you go to Amazon www.amazon.com/Frizzlife-Reverse-Osmosis-Filtration-System/dp/B083DFW1QS and do a search for “how long does the filter last” under Q&A, you will find the answer there. But in any case I’m quoting Frizzlife’s answer here for you.
“The first stage CP compound filter element is recommend to last for around 1 year or 900-1000 gallons of pure water. The second stage RO membrane is recommended to last around 2 years or 2000 gallons of pure water. The third stage alkaline filter is recommended to last 12 months or 1000 gallons of pure water. Actual performance will depends on different water quality and usage.”
Further below that Amazon listing, you will also see the 3 different filters listed where you can get an idea of the cost.
      HTH!

Thank you for the video. Where do I find trouble shooting for the issue of the ppm number being replaced with dashes after installing 24 hrs ago? It showed 09ppm the first day. Now just dashes.

Ok. Got it. Just needed to use it for a full minute to have it show ppm after a power failure. Water tastes great.

We just installed this filter and is making a noise when the faucet is on due what it seems is a vibration. Anyone has that problem?

Yes, mine vibrates and runs constantly until it goes into standby mode. Have to unplug and reset it, to get it come back on. Very frustrating.

This guy is the Amazing Hulk in installing these cartridges. Quite difficult to me, notwithstanding the supplied quick install directions telling me to turn them counter-clockwise. Actually, it said couter clockwise. But accepting for spelling... still, F'd up. The basic manual says clockwise. Who was in charge here?

Yeah. I still can't get my off. A strap wrench isn't any help. And neither are they.

My manual that I'm looking at right now says clockwise but now I see what you're talking about on the quick install guide
