    You breezed over the best stuff. I just bought one for my kid. We went on a 600 mile road trip. Gas mileage was great (high 30's). Adaptive cruise control and lane centering works great and it does force you to maintain some contact with the steering wheel. It tells you to put your hands on the wheel 3 times then turns off assist if you're being hard headed (like car punishment) It took some sharp turns a little faster than I would have but it practically drives itself. It keeps a comfortable distance between cars. Passing slow vehicles is simple, just steer into the next lane and it speeds up to your designated speed. Even with heavy traffic and construction the car knows what to do. It starts and stops like someone is driving manually. You can adjust the cruise control down if you're in heavy traffic and the speed limit changes. So the car won't do 70 in a 45. It also maneuvers away from vehicles if someone cuts you off. The "Auto Hold" was great at the drive thru. Park assist works perfectly and the built in Navigation was much easier than using navigation on my phone. After 600 miles, I wasn't tired and achy. It's a very pleasant ride. Oh forgot, the B/O sound system is fabulous!!!

    Test-drove one today. Super impressed. For a mid $30K AWD Hybrid, can’t be beat. Better build quality than my $60K Tesla Model 3. Wish the upcoming PHEV Escape would offer AWD. Also wish current hybrid would have an EV priority mode like RAV4 Hybrid.

    Next time in your video. Show the gauge to see how it works when the electric works and when the engine works. Don't just show the road and your face. You show the gauge when the engine will work and when the engine stop working, how much is the speed the engine will work without turning off. Also the electric when it will work and when it will stop.

    I currently have an 2020 Escape Hybrid Titanium myself. I love every feature in it. The only downside is that for some reason, I hear a rattle when playing music on my B&O sound system. It's coming from the rear. The car has about 67k miles on it. I think I also hear a rattle in the hood somewhere. I noticed while doing research, I am not the only one with this issue. Any thoughts?

    I bought a 2020 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid one month ago. It is a fine car. The self driving capability is fun and helpful. However its constant nagging that I have a firm grasp on the steering wheel is irritating. Having traded in a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium I can say that my biggest compliant with the 2016 was the SYNC, especially GPS had a lot to be desired. The 2020 SYNC is better. The GPS is not. It still cannot find places or takes me to the wrong place and it is vastly inferior to phone apps like Waze. Ford needs to try harder in that regard.

    Hybrid cars are not designed to stay & doomed to fail.
    After all why carry two power train every where , pay two maintenance, pay for two fuels, two headaches only to achieve one objective !!!
    And yet damage environment as there is no Tomorrow...Total madness.
    I guess taxi drivers & those travelling more than 300 miles a day could benefit from Hybrid cars.

    • @JimSpence
      @JimSpence 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They’ve been around for over 20 years. This is only 400lbs more than the regular gas and double the MPG. Maintenance is maintenance. Cost of ownership per mile is significantly less long term on hybrids due to fuel savings. This Escape is within a few grand of the gas only cousin so why not go for it?
