    Just getting into printing, what’s the point of wet on wet, instead of just flashing it? The wait time of the flash and cool down? Just curious 🧐

    You have any idea how much money you could save by stocking a frig at the shop?

    Will the silicone stain the shirt or will it evaporate in the conveyor?

    I print on very thick nylon material and am so used to flashing that i cant wrap my head around whether or not i could do wet on wet with such a different fabric. Would it matter?

    Hey Cam, you have been doing these videos for a few years now. Do you have any suggestions for reasonably priced video cameras? I am looking to document more of my shops progress and workings. What's good my dude?

    So I've been noticing that you mainly use only one press. Whats your thoughts on the two different presses that you have? One is back clamps (the one you mainly use) and one is side clamps. The reason i'm asking is i'm looking to get another press and was wondering whats the benefits of having side clamps.
    Holds registration better?
    Holds off contact better? meaning less bouncing when printing.
    Would love for a video review on the comparison.
    Thanks in advance!

      The only reason we dont use the Sidewinder is because it dont hold registration for shit.

      LOL..... ok so would you recommend just sticking with the rear clamps? Rear clamps is what we have been using for years with no problems. I was just wondering if the side clamps was any better.

    maybe you (or somebody in the print fam) can give some more advice.. every time I go to do wet on wet, even if I use curable reducer, I get build up, smear, excess bleed, etc.. I can't seem to shake it! HELP!

      Are you using a higher mesh count 180 and up? less ink laid down the less build up you will have on the bottom of your screen.

    Is wet on wet doable for water based also?

    • @blueblue6621
      @blueblue6621 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on a few factors. Doing 4 or 6 color prints ink tends to dry out on the screen for one. So you have to mist it with water. Probably want a higher mesh count if you are going to attempt. The major problem with wet on wet is the ink sticking to the screen, pulling up or sticking to the garment. I print with ONLY water based inks at work...So the answer is sometimes. Something you need to experiment with, first few prints usually not a problem. I'm going to try some of this silicone spray though see if I can get away with a few more.

      I've heard a lot about fumes from curing. How does that work in a basement.

    Title on video is slightly misleading, it’s 2 colors wet on wet.
