NFS Heat Takedown is 3D racing game developed and published by Adrenaline Amusements (under EA permission) for arcades in April 25, 2023. It's obvious part of the need for speed series and reuse asset from the console game, but the game it's shorten in a single tournament with few courses. The cabinet has a dark theme with 80’s era highlights, weirdly this game does not feature a marquee like a traditional game, in the place of a static backlit piece of art, NFS Takedown has a high-quality micro LED panel, which essentially serves as a second display.
When they make the difficulty easy enough to the point anyone can win first place, it takes away incentive to give people free races. Now they've gotta pay to keep going. It's wack as all hell.
It's a coin-op arcade cabinet. What did you expect? Remember those old arcade games of the '70s and '80s? Those required quarters to play the games. Nowadays, they want you yo load up money on a special game card in order for the players to play the games.
@@LawWonderTV9 Even as a kid growing up in the 2000's, I saw arcade games that let you have a free race so long s you got a first place. Now it seems like they make it easy enough that you can get first but still have to pay just to keep enjoying it.
This is most likely just using NFS Heat's assets but in a different engine as opposed to previous NFS arcade games, which are the original games basically modded and gutted (look at NFS Carbon arcade, which you can hack to access almost the entire original Carbon), but damn, this graphically looks better than vanilla NFS Heat.
It doesn't look better than the original nfs heat...you notice the small details are missing on the sidewalks, no tire marks, no traffic cars and the textures are highly simplified.
I never thought there would be another Need for Speed game for arcades. Idk why we hardly get arcade games like this in Western country anymore. Especially in Europe. Europe basically gets little to no new games for the arcades.
@@heardofrvb That's likely a "credit hookup" bootleg. OutRun 2006 seems to be a common game for this type of bootleg, though none of these have been dumped.
This is nuts, it’s just burnout 3 takedown all over again! NFS unbound only has the takedown element from burnout, which is of course highly welcomed back, along with that feel break to drift handling model.
I saw this arcade at La Ronde amusement park in 2023 and more recently at Centre Eaton mall in downtown Montreal I never inspected this arcade game released at my birthday
While the console port was a gigantic letdown for me, this coin-op version looks promising. Maybe when I go back to the Shore in the Summer of 2025, and if I find it at the arcade, I'll play it.
@@PathfinderAPEXV1 It's closer to Asphalt series instead of Burnout. Although maybe they took the title from Burnout 3 : Takedown, and make it Need for Speed : Heat - Takedown 💀
@@VictorBRz I've played arcade games with arcade controls. This game is definitely something I wouldn't bother trying even if it has arcadey physics. AT least, not when I play the original Heat (Also, isn't Most Wanted 2005 has arcade driving physics? You could turn in an intersection while hitting 200 km/h)
me and mate had a go at this game earlier this year. it was fun but it will devour your money (though this is EA so not totally surprising) it's £2 per play and that £2 gets you one race so that's £10 for 5 races per person honestly wouldn't recommend playing this over any other arcade racer.
That one has a coin-op adaptation too. Unfortunately modern IGS stuff (IGS developed that under Gameloft license) doesn't get dumpers interest for some reason.

As someone who had at least 100 hours on Nfs Heat, this has gotta be the most blursed shit ever 😂
It's insane this came out before Unbound released.
It disgusts me that they charge you £2 a game for 90 seconds of gameplay, £10 just to play through the Cup...

And add on to it that the game card scams you for your money and points also

You guys are soo spoiled. 2$ is cheap
Ghost Games : what did they do to my boy ...
Ironically, this is WAY better than the original version.
Damn, Palm City be looking different these days.
This is actually pretty cool. Never knew it existed.
When I played this in the arcade I was thinking
“NFSMW 2012? That You?”
awesome job about Arcade Gameplay from NFS Heat Takedown 2023

yeah, that looks horrible compared to the PC version. Sure, the console version looks bad, but those versions use the low preset.
It actually uses the Unity engine instead of Frostbite like the main version of the game.
@Sharpester-m4o That makes more sense, thanks.
nah the physics 💀
It’s an arcade bro
I wouldn't be surprised if the nfs mobile physics would be similar to here
No way, asphalt 10!
Nfs heat: asphalt edition
This plays like Burnout
I think burnout has better handling in my opinion
No this plays more like that one low budget burnout
@@TheLazyBoi_ you mean asphalt?
That physics though, whattttt.
Heat virou outro jogo!
This just make me think why EA haven't made a new Burnout game?..

😂The graphics of this game are better than the original
I always chose the yellow ford gt and wrecked the score in my town they called me "the hornet"
There was a new NFS arcade game? I thought Carbon was the last one.
Also The Run i guess
@traceydesanta7067 There's one of The Run?

This game is perfect for my driving skills!
I wonder if this will run in TeknoParrot? Unless that's what's being used to record gameplay footage?

This NFS Heat Takedown Arcade game by Adrenaline Amusements & EA was hardware by Namco System ES4 at 2023
I remember playing this Arcade Game at Nickel City Extreme, and I finished all of the race tracks in first place!
I was a bit disappointed because I thought you could also play as the cops like in the Hot Pursuit series
this is so eerily close to Burnout 3, they should go for an indie PC game with this exact handling system

7:40 there's one of the gas stations.
Burnout Need for Speed ?
Would love to play this!
Carai parssa
no save data?
This looks like you can play it on mobile phones📱but its for the arcade machines 🕹 only😔
This is rela?
Tried this once, it didn't feel like NFS to me honestly
Totally agree 100% played this at icon park in Florida and in all seriousness I got 2 races in before I when, Na this sucks ass
@Theintoxicatedsniper indeed, the gameplay kinda felt like Burnout
My dudes THIS IS A ARCADE GAME, it is supposed to be more "arcade"
(But i don't disagree that it is pretty mediocre)

Una copía barata del nfs heat pero la jugabilidad se vé asombrosa
Why go play this in an arcade when you can buy nfs heat as a full game on console and play with your friends online.

WHAT IS THIS !!??!?!?
It's really a shame what the Need for Speed Series has become honestly disgusting
asphalt x ☠️☠️☠️😭
So mamy beautiful colors.....but the ugliest is chosen

Knock off asphalt 9 😂
Haha no
