Hi there! thanks, And welcome to the channel. You need to add a “FollowPath” helper. Draw a line to the extractor fan and pick it by the helper. You’ll end up with sth like this: thereflectedone.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Path_follow_TheReflectedOne.jpg
When I´m rendering smoke with Corona I´m using smoke color to be set on constant color and pure white, If I choose from the scattering options anything else than Ray-Tracing the smoke renders black instead of white. I have watched the tutorial (which is really good) and tried to see if I have some options different than you.. but haven´t noticed anything to be different. The phoenix version is 5.01, Corona version 9 and 3dsmax 2023. Any ideas what I might have missed?
to be honest, since I've had lots of problems rendering phoenix with corona renderer when I wanna render smoke I render it separately using Vray and add it in the Post to the final image.
Watch the Part 1 here: th-cam.com/video/WuNe3tu5Yoo/w-d-xo.html
nice one
thank you!
what was the unit system you have kept for the simulation
Display unit scale: centimeters
system unit setup 1 unit= 1 centimeters
following the previous tutorial
can I get this project file to use in Unreal directly please?
Love the tutorial! How would you create steam (from a pan on the hob) being taken in by an extractor fan?

is it possible to loop the steam? i try it the whole day and failed every time...
You can do it in the post. For example in premiere: Duplicate the layer, trim the beginning part and use dissolve transition.
@@TheReflectedOne thank you!!
