【 DESCRIPTION 】
Anyone remember the official Miku Live and Learn cover from the project diva extend album. very "2010 vocaloid cover" but i loved that shit as a kid. I'm pretty sure the sonic module in whichever PD it was was for the 20th anniversary too, it would have been really funny if they put the song in the game

I wish they'd make a miku voicebank that actually let's her scream
I thought with tuning you can make it sound like she's screaming? i know bout jack on vocal synth and tuning, but i've heard her sound like she's screaming (or at least added strength to her vocals as she sings. screaming might be the wrong word here)
The Japanese banks have parameters for it-- this is why I HATE the english voicebank- it only has one sound style- it's 'English'. Meanwhile Japanese has 'Dark', 'Solid' (probably what you're asking about), 'Sweet', THE WORKS
@@ttsloid939 that's what I thought. So the difference is English is just considered another parameter, not an actual original bank. That's unfortunate. Hopefully they'll improve this with time
@@KitsuneFyora @TTSLOID Sort of. Miku English is its own bank. Miku V4x's Japanese is a set of the five (?) different voicebanks that TTSLOID mentioned. Parameters in Vocaloid doesn't refer to different banks for the same character, it refers to settings that can be edited by a user (like pitch or loudness) to tune the voice output.
It's possible to create a sort of screaming effect for vocals that don't have much power by using a large, sudden pitch transition, and there's probably other ways to do it as well, but it's not always optimal and won't change the way the voice sounds that much
lets :)

Wow, the difference between this and your I Am All of Me cover is night and day! You’ve gotten so much better at tuning Miku English! You should try retuning the old one! (Cuz tbh only the chorus was understandable lol) Good job!
Thanks! I know the I Am one is iffy lmao, it's both not really suited to Miku's range and way faster, which makes her pretty unruly also. I don't use Vocaloid so often anymore but I actually did start to redo it with her using a new method that I think will sound better. I guess I'll see if I finish it :)
@@scenikeight I’m wondering if Crypton will ever release AI Vocaloids, cuz as it is, I don’t have any reason to use Vocaloid either. I mainly just use SynthV.
@@too_blatant I think they're committed to their NT voicebanks which is a shame bc they sound awful 😭 I would love AI voicebanks from them instead, but I can't see them going to any other company's software now. Standard synths are not really my go to anymore and especially not NT quality so I'm kind of off of the crypton train now

@@goldandcheese There was an album released as a promotional tie-in for one of the Project Diva games that had a cover of this song on it, it was for both whichever PD game it was release and for Sonic's 25th anniversary. It's on TH-cam somewhere.

@@deadname569 Hatsune Miku is owned by Crypton Future Media, but SEGA do owns the rights to do concerts and games! (the concerts are made by SEGA's animation studio, "Marza Animation Planet", and the newest games by their Arcade division "SEGA AM2"
(the old Project Diva games were made by "SEGA AM3" but the group disbanded a few years ago and Project Diva's general director has quit working at SEGA sadly, that's why we didn't got any original Project Diva games since Project Diva X but only ports of the Future Tone arcade game with with additional content)

hold oon hold on wait. i just spent the last year working on various sonic usts and vsqxs. and somehow after seeing and loving your covers my brain continually glanced over the part where you had "+vsqx" in your titles. never checking the description with a convenient link until now. i feel like an idiot rip,,, still, you have my gratitude! a couple of them i might just finish my own bc they're basically done, but most of em aren't there yet, so this is really helpful!! if i ever post something using one of your vsqxs, i promise to make sure you're properly credited! thank you so much!!!!
There's absolutely no reason why you can't make your own if you want to! It would be a shame to lose your hard work just because someone else did the same thing.
@@scenikeight oh no, i definitely plan on still using the ones i worked on! i more meant the ones i was struggling with or about to start on. like, my live and learn one is mostly done, so ill probably just stick with my own for that, but for a while i've been putting off my teto i am all of me cover bc i knew it would be annoying to put the ust together, but yesterday after i found your list i put the file into openutau and spent the afternoon just working on that lol. still some work since phonemes and other stuff don't quite work the same, but way easier than the alternative imo (im tonedeaf and figuring out where to put the notes is a nightmare for me rip ;-;). plus, i actually found it yesterday while looking for a bitter choco decoration vsqx, so obvs i plan on using that one too lol. and just in general, i think its really cool of you to post the files for ppl to use, so i wanted to thank you! i appreciate it a lot!!

@BrickOzwald I'm sorry but I can't! Spotify is very different to TH-cam, it's only for people making their own music and my cover here uses the original song's instrumental so uploading it to Spotify would be illegal. There's a way to play songs from your local library on the Spotify app/desktop client I believe, so you could use a TH-cam to MP3 converter and do it that way. I don't use it so you'd have to Google how to do it.
@@scenikeight I see, and understand. So if you use an instrumental that is not your own, it’s illegal. In theory, if you made your own cover of an instrumental, would be allowed? Anyway, I will try to see if the other thing will work. Might not since I’m on iPad though
