Love the game , it has beautiful art , simple but engaging gameplay and each craft has its unique flavor. Hope to see it growing more here in the West , it really deserves it.
Can't speak for worldwide but Shadow's been probably the most popular tcg in my community, it helps that it attracts people sick of MTG and there's a lot of those.
Got into this game when it caught my eye at a LGS a couple months ago. LGS says product is selling, but can't find any local players. For now, I just collect because I like the art. I might look to travel to an event in 2024.
Having a GP for SVE English will give a lot of players a good reason to addend an event in 2024! Big, fun event were people can be competitive or just play casual side events would do wonders for the scene 👌
Would definitely like to see some GP style events here in the U.K. We have been very short on competitive events. I think the qualifying season has been a pretty big miss. Tempted by the LCQ in London though…
6:40 i get that but at the same time, I am buffeled why some stores went full Ham on Grand Archieve and totally ignored Shadowverse, when the latter has the sweet mobile game...
This game might still be best enjoyed digitally, it has cross platform, portability, great graphics, sounds and animations, but is not really tailored that much to be a physical card game.. It might be better to keep this your favorite digital TCG just like the anime itself also suggests and keep giving Heartstone a run for there money.. It might be better to look and guide crowd that is looking to play a dedicated trading card game, to something more substantial in that regard with great potential.. Talking about Grand Archive.. It just needs to break some ice and catch some more momentum since it has no anime series to backup where it is coming from, but lets say from card gamers for card gamers, beautifull design, smooth mechanics, much depth and value!
As someone with hundreds of hours in the digital game I have to say that that the physical game is mechanically different enough and incredibly enjoyable- it's why the events in Japan have 2000 players 👍
Unfortunately the game is basically dead on arrival in the UK. Lucky to get even several people show up to locals, barely any stock, most stores don’t seem to run events, the upcoming official in-store demos is US/Canada only, etc. I can’t justify wasting money on this. By the time it picks up (which i doubt it ever will), it’ll be so hard and expensive to get original sets to play catch up, especially crossover ones. They already missed their mark. I’ll probably just wait for StarWars Unlimited
Thank you all for the continued SVE content support 🙏
Who else is going to those LCQs and who will I see at the California event?
Thanks for the very kind words RZR! Hopefully with the event announcements this week, the internationals will be as close to GPs as possible.
Cheers! I'm very much looking forward to the new Showdown Events!

Agreed 💯

That's awesome to hear!
I hope so. I really like this tcg
One of my biggest hopes for 2024 🙏

Osaka is great. I wish I could have stayed more than 2 days. Visit Den-Den town for sure
I hope I can visit Osaka next year!
I really want SVE to blow up here. Its so hard go find consistent players to play it
We need a real YGO style regional circuit. It can't be a side event for Vanguard.
My main issue is how it's best of one. Feels bad when locked in a bad match up and more cards would probably see play if there was a sideboard.
sadly kaiofcards and troll and toud dont sell shadowverse cards i have yet to start not sure whats a good place to get singles
Tcgplayer is what I use 👍
