I know the fan service is a bit much in this episode, but I do really deeply love the moment between Natsu and Lucy here, like Lucy very genuinely saying "I want to stay with you, there's nothing that would make me happier" despite being in a deadly situation, and seeing Natsu react to that declaration always leaves me so emotional 😭😭😭 I feel like this moment really marks a shift in the dynamic between Natsu and Lucy, like romantically or otherwise their relationship really deepens after this point, and they end up having a lot more genuine and vulnerable emotional interactions throughout the rest of the series

As a huge Nalu fan this episode is one of my favorites 😂
This is a terrifying fight, but this will be one of the only "light hearted" or comedic episodes of this arc, for a lack of better words 😂

I love how im always impatient for the next episode, but then 30 min after watching it i get distracted and forget about it- then a week later i got the notification of the next episode i just become super excited!! happens evry week XDD

To nalu fans, this is like THEE episode where we think of Natsu falling for her (or like… realizing there’s truly something different he’s feeling for her)
I can sit through this episode because a fight in the next episode is one of my favorites.
This fight was weird af but it is one the funniest.

With Kain down, there're four of the Seven Kin still to be defeated... but those won't be as easy to defeat, especially Ultear. Her Arc of Time is especially tricky, considering the only things she can't rewind or fast-foward are sentient beings. And Meldy... her Maguilty Sense can place any opponent with loved ones in a terrible predicament. Rusty may be arrogant and condescendant, but his Arc of Embodiment is only limited by his own imagination. And then there's Asuma... Well, his last fight is perhaps one of my favorites in this entire arc.

I definitely felt zambers discomfort throughout this video its a pretty tough one to sit through cuz of the Fanservice 😅
Admittedly I watched this episode in Japanese, and although I usually love the dub, the sub version here really hit harder like. MUCH earlier in the show, Natsu had told her he wanted to stay a team because it’s “more fun when we’re together!” And at this episode, Lucy had smiled and told him, “I won’t leave. It’s more fun when we’re together, right?” A direct quote to what Natsu had told her. The implication being that even death would be a fun adventure as long as they are together. This concept is referenced again in the season after this one, although with imagery instead of words, so I think it’s important to mention.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again… the fan service only gets worse from here 😂
I'm not sure why they didn't start targeting the doll after he explained how it works and that it was buffing him. It is a double-edged sword.
