I explain all of this in the video - You need a PC for high quality streaming using a dedicated video encoder you can only get from Nvidia GPUs. The Capture card is also a PCIE style which can only be installed in a desktop PC. Keep in mind there's other easier ways to stream but professional quality streaming at high resolutions/fps can only be done with a setup like this [at the time of this video]
As someone who is looking to start streaming I thought that having a gaming/streaming setup would be difficult but after seeing this video I realized it is actually much more complicated and expensive than I initially thought. You explained everything but something’s there I didn’t even know I would need. Back to drawing board.
U dont neee a pc or web cam this video is pointless as if u just sold the xbox or ps u could get a better pc than he used and instead could have a pc streaming set up just stream from console using the twitch app and thats all u should need no pc possibility a laptop tho just for managing the stream
It doesn’t have to be this complex, Just stream from your console or pc with any mic and you’re good, add some decent lighting and a decent webcam And you’re golden
From the setups I've seen this far, I love this one for it's simplicity and to me very minimal. Thanks for posting this. I think this would work for my son and me when I decide to stream.
You could NOT have dropped this at a better time! I've been following the OG video religiously and I finally started streaming! The new set up looks sleek!
Hey man! I saw your other comment and will be making a full video breaking down the whole process of setting up for streaming within the next month or so. I'm just in the process of moving into my new studio so I can't get to the video yet but I will I promise :)
This is literally the most helpful video I've found on TH-cam as a guide on how to start your way as a streamer. Very good and highly well explained. It's also good to know that I'm going through the right path on this. Thank you!
as a PC gamer when I see a console setup this clean, I can completely understand why some people will never swap from console. and with the direction consoles are headed PC and console will be one in the same in no time anyway. Beautiful
Been searching and searching, and this video is perfect. It's a minimal setup but very capable, just what I've been looking for.I really want to get into streaming! Definitely subscribed to the channel, Congrats on the best buy sponsorship.
I love this video. It's definitely given me great advice for when I can afford the items mentioned. I have my ps5 set up, but I need all the rest. I need to learn more about the audio coming from the pc instead of the console.
The capture card is more important than the PC setup when it comes to streaming console games, but having a capable PC setup can help ensure a smooth and high-quality streaming experience.
thanks for the video! ive been streaming for about 4 months and i just added an elgato to my set up. youre set up is so dope! but for sure you had a generous budget to work with
Honestly, one of the simplest and best videos out there. I couldn't take my eyes of. The colors, the sound and the quality. All of it. You made me want to stream and go to the gym today (with all them veins on your arm 😂). Well done bro and keep it up !
Solid guide, accounts for near everything you would ever need to start streaming. If it had a twitch component it would be perfect. Good job either way
The one thing this misses is if you are in party chat with friends on your console or in game chat with teammates in competitive games. I don't believe the capture card also sends sound back to the PS5/Xbox which would be problematic for communication. Other than that, this setup is awesome
Yeah he didn’t mention that since he’s using Bluetooth headset and the only way to hear your friends in stream is with chat link pro cable & it only works with el gato HD60X capture card & corded headset plugged into remote+headset, setting it to analog on the el gato 4K utility software on pc. Went full geek there but yeah 😂
Elgato hd60x works perfectly fine if not better and all u need is a laptop with 8gb of ram and windows 10 or higher. I use the same 16 inch MacBook Pro with mines and have never had lag or issues. So if anyone’s wondering… no you don’t need a pc setup to stream and record effectively
SUBSCRIBED! Nice work just started watching your videos. I have to see what you could do with soundproofing; I haven't seen any videos including soundproofing and I think your little brother is in big need for it in that small space. Your home office curtains act as some soundproofing and is a technique to remember in the future room modeling. I notice you like speakers with your builds, adding soundproof foam or other materials to the room will help clean the sound in the room plus keep the rest of the house at peace or provide privacy to your workspace/gaming space. I'm excited to see what you come up with! 🤟
Would this setup work if I have friends in a party would you be able to hear their voice and would the transfer to the elgato would they be able to hear them on the stream
I used to think that setting up a gaming livestream would be complicated, but this video completely changed my perception. It's much simpler than I imagined! 🎮🔴
So beautiful this setup dude, although the chair could be black and White to match with other parts. Do you make stream ? Your videos are better each day.
Could you make a detail video on how to create a scene where they all combine to be recorded, im mainly interested on how to add and play spotify music where you can hear it through your headphones.
hey man i just love your gaming setup and i want it to be just like yours and can you please tell me which headphone table clamp you used and which keyboard? Love the videos!
Give me a quick in sight on using a laptop vs using a computer monitor for obs… I’m gaming on ps4/ps5. What are the advantages for obs on a monitor vs laptop???
What do you exactly need the PC for pls ?

This is the cleanest and most straightforward video about how to get into streaming i can find, nice one!
Just discovered your channel now and haven seen 6-7 of your videos already. You're pushing out great content man! Stay Blessed.

I love this video. It's definitely given me great advice for when I can afford the items mentioned. I have my ps5 set up, but I need all the rest. I need to learn more about the audio coming from the pc instead of the console.

i think you mean you dont need it to stream 4k as well. But yeah I have HD60x as well and it captures 4k 60 from my series x to my laptop just fine.
