I feel that if Microsoft did not make so different versions of the same app, our lives would be easier. I mean, the desktop, mobile and web apps have those little differences that make each other less than compatible. Groups, steps, flags, folders etc.
Anyway, your instructions were very good. Thank you.
Maybe someday you would want to do a list of incompatibilities between outlook versions, so we dont step on a landmine.

I agree, it has been a frustrating road to get all of the Outllok versions looking the same. I want to let you know that is the way they're headed, though. Everything will eventually look like the web version, and if you're on Microsoft 365, I recommend choosing the "new" Outlook sooner rather than later because the old version will eventually go away. It will be easier to get used to the new one before you're forced to.
I am planning to do some comparison videos soon so that folks can get used to where things are in the new Outlook. Thank you so much for the feedback!

Is there a way to change the color of the flag?

Great question, @lisavalle9416. Unfortunately, I do not know of a way to change flag colors in Outlook. You can change the shade of red based on how close the due date is, but not the color.
