Unless you're absolutely filthy rich, I think an unlimited card would introduce it's own level of stress because now you have the card hard stopping you from spending more than you should because you maxed it out. Without that stop-gap some people will just keep on spending endlessly until they've dug themselves into a credit hole that they'd be hard pressed to dig themselves out from.
Banks: "oops, we accidentally created a system where problem-spenders end up owing us large sums of money for the rest of their lives, how did this happen????" "Oh no, now society requires you to have several minor debts you have to keep open and paying into regularly in order to prove your fiscal responsibility for vital things like car and home ownership! Those poor problem-spenders can't play it safe and avoid credit altogether, we banks never foresaw this outcome :C "

Which is why korea debt is so high, they issue bunch of cards with high credit limit to those who dont have stable job, bunch of people declared bankrupt or suicide due to unstoppable spending spree until too late
@@principalflame5199 Good credit scores really aren't that hard, I have one credit card, I use the card to buy what I need, I have my bank set to auto-pay my card in full and my credit score is stellar without having to do any of the nonsense I hear about with multiple cards or keeping debt to boost it
I had one of those kinds of limitless cards, they're still looking for me to this day... Absolutely a pain in the arse to deal with.
I was given one recently with a limit and I'm so glad it has a limit or I'd be back in the pit of debt the last one sent me to.

As a reminder.... please do not max out your Credit Limit whenever possible. Your credit score will suffer if they see you maxing-out limits. Please remember that Credit Card is basically Unsecured Loan.
Japanese credit card limits are significantly lower, it's not surprising to max it out. IIRC they can also have single purchase limits lower than the balance limit.

This is one of the reasons I don’t want to get a credit card even if it’s just to build up my own credit, I know myself enough to know I’ll end up like Suisei maxing it out all the time but I won’t have the means to pay it back.

I have a credit card but I don't spend on the internet much and in person I try to use cash instead as much as possible.
I'd say get the card, but don't learn your number. leave it in the envelope if you can. But I suppose that makes in a matter of willpower or something, so, really, you do you.

Not uncommon for people to have company cards that are for "business expenses." In this case, I'd imagine some limit for things like buying lunch during official collabs, maybe some kind of budget for equipment maintenance/repair.
