2024 Kia EV9 Air (car review)

Kia brings bold styling and a completely new look to its SUV line-up with the introduction of the EV9, its first fully electric seven seater. The range opens with the entry level Air variant, which is powered by a single rear-mounted motor.
Putting out 160kW of power and 350Nm of torque, it's good for a sprint to 100km/h in 8.2 seconds and has a top speed of 190km/h. More importantly, its 76.1kWh battery is good for around 443km of range.
On the charging front, you'll need to spend around 7.5-hours hooked to an 11kW phase3 charger at home, while a 50kW charging station will take around two hours. Hook up to a 350kW DC fast charger and you could get from 10-80 per cent in 15 minutes.
