Thank you so much for this, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed making my first sweet pea. Your teaching method is lovely and relaxing. I’ve made many bags over the years and the turn out through the pocket is a game changer. Thanks 😊🎉

What a great way of turning your bag through the zipper pocket! Who knew! Love it. Thank you for your tutorial!

Lovely tutorial and bag. I recently saw a Facebook group post about bag making and googled for free handbag patterns. This big immediatly drawed my attention, I love small-ish everyday bags. I will print the pattern soon and then the fun part can begin; designing my ideal fabric and print combination.

hello! if I didn't want to make a zipper pocket, how would I reverse the bag after sewing the interior and exterior together?

You would leave an opening in the lining seam somewhere and turn through there. Then sew it shut after the bag is turned.

Hi do you clip your seams open or in opposite directions? Ty

I’ve done both. They both work so I think it’s personal preference.

Thank you so much. I am struggling with the top stitching though. Any tips?

Sharon Armstrong can you explain how you are struggling? Give as much detail as you can: is it your machine that is struggling? What materials did you use? Thanks!
