1 Time in the market will always beat timing the market
2 Always measure the risk you can take by your years left before retirement. 50% on high risk stocks it's extremely high even in your 20s
3 your loss it's not only what you lost but also the potential profit you could have made
4 a portfolio of a defensive investor should not include more than 15 stocks. Imagine a professional team work together need around 10 days to estimate if a stock worth the buy
5 learn how to invest on ETFs and let the others do the boring difficult work for you.
I did my mistakes in the market as everyone so it's important to build your portfolio on strong foundations
