@@austinbusumbru123 He's the the type of foo that talks s**t online but act all cowardly when the person he was talking s**t too online finds his current location.
Two reasons why I think he works: 1. He isn’t some nut job, that nobody believes when talking about monsters or aliens. He literally starts off, not taking the job that seriously, only for the worst things to happen to him, which forces him to try to convince himself to believe that the Giant is real, which the creators managed to pull off quite early. And it makes it all the more funnier that nobody ends up believing him as even he thinks he’s going crazy. 2. While, he may sound like a dude just throwing threats around to get what he wants out of people, it’s not like he comes empty-handed. The scene where he interrogates Hogarth and threatens to take him away from his mother has some truth to it, when looking back. Kent has evidence that links Hogarth to the power station accident and he could probably find something to pin Hogarth at the train wreck. But if word got out that these incidents were caused by a child, the town may start throwing concern to where the child’s parents were in all this. Even Annie testified to Kent that Hogarth was out that night. With this in mind, the ultimatum becomes more clear. Hogarth can take the blame for the Giant’s recklessness, which may cause the public to look down upon him and his mother, leading for him to be taken away. Or he chooses to reveal where the Giant is.
Terrible marketing! None of the restaurants and other buildings that were supposed to put up signs did, hardly any posters up at the movie theaters, trailers (especially the ones made for tv) made The Iron Giant up to be like some kind of action robot film! RIP Michael Kamen
"I go, you stay, no following"
This movie still hits so hard after so many years
My favorite part of Steve's videos is when... uh... when he does the... the thing... you know? The thing he does in his videos... yeah, that thing, love that.
That guy looks like the president from SA2 and StH.
Fun fact, the iron giant was made by the same animators who animated 8 Crazy nights. Even the deer look the same.
with some animators from fox's then recently closed 2D animation studio who made most of Don Bluth's later movies
My high school art teacher animated for this movie! I miss paper animation
23:26 “ when bro, forgot his diarrhea preventing medication”
9:53 they have to watch brave little toaster
LETD GOOO IRON GIANT!!!
5:55 It's actually not made by the same developers who made the Arkham Games but Rocksteady themselves as the og devs didn't like the Suicide Squad pitch idea
its so nice to see steve reach out and collab with smaller creators
“They found me behind a Wendy’s”
When I was a kid the government guy actually gave me nightmares for weeks
this movie scared the shit out of me as a kid, just the white eyes glowing in the darkness freaked me out in the beginning. didnt help my window in my room looked over some distant trees with two lights that mimicked those eyes perfectly above the tree line when it was night. one of my fav movies, always makes me cry, next to Lion King and Aristocats
Funny enough, your comment about “The Iron Giant accidentally kills the deer” is very similar to something that happens in the newest Transformers comic series. Optimus Prime is experiencing Earth for the first time, and taking in its beauty, when he accidentally steps on a deer. He’s saddened by it and it dawns on him how soft and fragile Earth and its creatures are. The writer of the comic even said that it was a direct homage to this film!
"This genre of person doesn't exist anymore - Drink coffee, listen to jazz, wear leather jackets."
I'm not dead, fellas, I checked.
I sobbed so much every time I watched the end as a kid.
OH FIANLLY I've been wanting you guys to watch this forver I'm so glad you did and love it
5:53 Stardew Valley mentioned. Based game
There's a deleted scene that confirms the IG was part of an army of robots that go about wiping planets
9:43 Nah cuz his hand really said 💅✨
like look at how he pushed his hair behind his ear
He dainty fr fr
Why does Dean remind me of, and looks like he has traits borrowed from Tony Stark?
it's called being a sarcastic dude
10:24, the fckin’ knocking sound sounds so realistic with headphones. I thought someone was living in my walls
I can’t believe I just recently watched this movie, I missed out as a kid. Quest for Camelot is another underrated good one
I like the fact that whenever they like the movies the video is longer
Weird Fact, there was a scene at the end that didn't pass the script because it was too dark which is basically Mansley facing a firing squad noticing one of the parts of the giant moving in the distance
Dean was my favorite character.
There really was just something so magical about these older animated movies
Film of all time.
In school today my teacher played a clip of Hoodwinked in class for a project! I actually knew what it was because I watch you guys! ❤
22:07 that's the only way I can make my dad laugh. When he's stoned outta his mind and so I show him one of my memes
