This harp has a BEAUTIFUL sound! Stoney End has been around since--oh, gosh--late 1970s/early 1980s. I know, because I had ordered and received a printed catalogue from them when I was a teenager, and I used to look through the catalogue. Their harps are excellent quality!

Hello Molly and Happy New Year's "Eve"! You have scored again with another beautiful sounding harp. Your description of it's sound is right on and what I would look for in a harp. Glad to know the string tension is more on the medium side. I made the mistake of buying a harp with light tension and it just didn't work for me; maybe because I'm a massage therapist and my fingers are stronger than average. I don't know. But I tried the harp for a year but couldn't get used to the lighter tension. So I'm always researching for medium to concert tension harps. Thanks for your review!

Lovely harp with a very sweet sound. My eBay find wasn’t nearly so wonderful more of a lesson. It’s always with hope and excitement we take a chance. You make very beautiful videos.

I am so happy to have just found one on Facebook although it was built from one of their kits years ago. I am so excited to have a little harp to sit on my lap and not need a strap.

Hi Molly. Another great video. You’re amazing! You mention it has a medium tension. Is it firmer than your Fullsicle or Dusty double?
PS. Love how you mentioned about Gary Stone looking for someone to help him. 🥰

Hello Robin! It is definitely firmer than my Dusty double and my Fullsicle, but not dramatically so. I'm hoping someone jumps on the apprentice opportunity and everyone can get their harps faster 😊

@@MusicalMollyKhan Hi Molly! I totally agree. I don’t know why someone doesn’t snatch up the opportunity. He has more than enough business for a whole town!
And it’s so frustrating to have to wait up to two years to get an instrument that you love. But I have to say that I’ve tried out at least 12 Harps and the Stoney End harps have the best sound of any harps. I had a harp tasting event at my house on New Years Eve day. Out of 15 harps Stoney End was the winner of best sound. Dusty Strings DS was the lightest tension.
Please keep up the great work you do. You are so inspiring! I love your smile and laugh. Makes me smile right along with you 🥰

    Hi Molly,
Of the various lyres you own and have reviewed, is there one you prefer? I have ordered the green Cega you reviewed, as well as the Aklok and a Donner 16 string. Your input would be helpful. 😊

You need to do online research by typing Stoney End Harps or The Harp Connection or Top 25 Level Harp Makers in the search box of Ask, and in the search box of Google.
