I need a transcript of this episode .... My ex said I was goofy=> don’t change yourself based off of a counterfeit. 🤯My ex really did call me goofy and there was something about the way he said it. I felt self conscious and there was a change. I remember my mom even noticed the change and told me she missed my wild laugh. Long story short, after counseling, prayer and healing……I’m back😁

As a woman that's in her "waiting" season, this whole episode was extremely needed and so refreshing to hear ESPECIALLY coming from men. You have no idea how much you have confirmed what GOD has been trying to show me and tell me for years. Culture will literally have you out hear thinking, no man will ever truly wait, go through his process of healing and deliverance on top of being faithful to GOD before HE will align him to his wife. That season of waiting is so important.. its not easy at all, can be very lonely and scary, but at the end of the day I trust GOD. His Way over MY WAY ... PERIODT ❤️

I saw a quote recently that said *the longer you entertain what's not for you, the longer you postpone what is* and it really helped to strengthen my resolve to put a stop to this bad cycle that I keep allowing myself to fall into. I'm 100% convinced that there is something on the other side of this hurdle that the enemy doesn't want me to get to. Something that I need to get to to really propel my relationship with God and his purpose in me. I Have To Get It Done.

I have been asked all the time ,”why don’t you date you need to know what you like.” “ why don’t you have sex with him so you know what to do when you get married?” “ Virgins don’t know anything” I have always said, sex is a discovery. I get the privilege of knowing my spouse in the most intimate of ways. I get to know him. Why would I “train” or “prepare” to be with him by knowing other people who are not him? Oh, I was so looking forward to this! I did 2 seasons of Wife Academy with Jerry and Tanisha and it was life changing. The Lord is using them mightily to heal men and women in the body of Christ. I praise God for giving you the wisdom to know who to invite in each season. Love you, brother, and I love watching your journey of healing and growth!!

This was my favorite episode! I've often contemplated moving to Houston because I love what Jerry and his wife are doing for the body of Christ. I've been following him for several years, and he has been such a blessing in my single season he gives me hope that kingdom men actually exist 💜 God bless you both sending love from Florida.

It’s heartbreaking for me to see her all in claiming him whereas he’s barely mentioning her at all. Sorry for the rant but again, I’m glad Pastor Flowers mentioned this point.

I realized something in my personal journey with God. Holy Spirit revealed to me the other day how "We put up walls to protect ourselves from people but don't realize that those barriers also prevent us from letting Jesus in".
You see we become so guarded that we guard ourselves even from The One who so so dearly desires to have emotional, mental, spiritual intimacy with us. Building walls is harmful in so many ways and if you have to put up a wall then you're definitely not healed. To heal is to trust that God is intentionally placing the right people into your life while He simultaneously seperates you from the wrong ones. So that you no longer move in fear and not because you necessarily trust people but because you've learnt to trust the God who created them.

I’m new to this channel but I am a long time follower of the Flowers. Ima make my testimony short for y’all !
I first start following Redifinedtv in 2018 right at the start of my last heart break. I was sick and tired of being played and playing myself in relationships and Situationships. So I started focusing on my relationship with God and asked him to just continue to prepare me if I am suppose to be a wife but don’t bring no man to me unless he is my husband!!! I start listening to Jerry and Tanisha and I got healed in my single stage. A little over a year later I met a business partner who became a good friend. He wasn’t “my type” and I immediately got the brother vibes too, we were just great associates. However, God had showed me a different view of him one day and I start feeling some type of way .. so I started to pray about that feeling and God reveled that he was my husband. Of course I kept praying asking The Lord if it was really Him telling me this and not the devil or myself 🤣 and he kept making it clear that it was him and it was true. So I said okay .. what should I do ?and as blatant as can be he basically told me to shut up and don’t say anything. Fast forward we still business partners and I’m with him every weekend but can’t say nothing lol He never showed any interest just kept it professional… 5 months later he calls me and says I’ve known for a while and my mom yelled at me about it the other day on my birthday but God told me that your my wife so I have to do what’s right but I would like to court you !!!! Y’all I was SHOOK!! Lol Fast forward 8 months later we got married !
I say all that to say The Flowers helped me in my single stages… then in our courting and pre martial stage and now in our marriage !!! Nobody knew we were dating until we posted our wedding photos.. yes read that again 🤣👏🏾 When I say we are so thankful for their ministry y’all don’t even understand how much we truly are !! I hope they bless you guys as they have for my family! Jerry Flowers is awesome! So much wisdom was dropped in this episode. His wife did not give him access to certain parts of her life until he was serious. This is exactly what I said I would do moving forward. Confirmation!!! Very few people think forever or covenant. The thought they have is I can always get divorced, so I'll get married. Or they choose to not share their lives with their spouse and keep things a secret. Then they want to know why things aren't working out. You're living on secrets, that's why!! "Endure is a commitment to remain even when the desire to remain is gone." Powerful and true! Beautiful letter. ❤❤
I'm just 25 minutes into this Podcast and ALREADY so "spiritually full" because of all the insightful and revelatory 'bread crumbs" this guest has already served up. I just might have to push away from the "Table," and let all these wonderful nuggets of wisdom and knowledge digest before I can feast on any more.
Each Podcast of Dear Future Wifey I've watched has taken me to a higher awareness and level of understanding on how men think, and the unintentional mistakes I've made in past relationships. I KNOW these Podcasts are God sent because I couldn't afford relationship counseling on my current budget, but God is providing me with so much needed answers and information through these Podcasts so that when He does send me the man I've been praying for over the past ten years, i won't "blow the blessing." Being in your 20’s in a generation that makes “sneaky linking and cuddle season” the new normal makes it hard to be authentic. Most of us crave a genuine love but set ourselves up when we settle for what the flesh wants.
