Avelo Diving at Catalina Sea Camp

Experience the biggest revolution in the scuba industry since Jacque Cousteau’s AquaLung: The Avelo Scuba System, where the buoyancy control device is the tank itself! The Avelo system (diveavelo.com) allows divers to dive with less weight, more bottom time, and effortless buoyancy control! The system eliminates rapid buoyancy changes (uncontrolled ascents or descents), making diving safer. We are partnering with Catalina Diver’s Supply to offer this exclusive course to our campers. To earn their Recreational Avelo Diver (RAD) certification, campers will complete online eLearning prior to camp and two in water sessions at the Avalon Dive Park. Once certified, campers will do at least one more ‘fun’ dive with the Avelo system.
