My stepdaughter suffered the worst kind of bullying too, imagine the worst, yes, that kind of worst…She’s now past that now, and she’s become a beautiful, tougher and smart young adult. I’m sure we are all going to be here when you decide it’s time to continue. Your reviews are so unbiased and knowledgeable, you bring a lot to the art community on making smart decisions, specially during these pandemic times, when smart decisions need to be made about how money is spent. Hi Harry, I'm so sad for what your daughter and your family is going through. I went through a similar difficulty with my own daughter and I know how much it hurts. At her worst she tried to end it all and came extremely close to succeeding. It was 7 years ago and I still get teary thinking about it now. The good news that with time and help things got a lot better. Do whatever you need to do for you and your family to get through this. If you can't do many reviews for a while so be it. Don't stop drawing for yourself though, it may be the only thing that keeps you going. My mistake was not to make a small amount of time for me because my girl needed me so much. But it's a bit like the aeroplane oxygen mask if you put yours on you can help them next. As for your channel Harry, we'll be here for you when you get the time to get back but you and your family must always come first. They just started floating around my recommendations and thought I trust the company in providing pretty good pencils, having 520 colors makes me doubt how distinct each color would be from one another. They’re probably trying to attract people who have thought about subscribing to the Felissimo 500 colored pencils but couldn’t commit to the uncancelable monthly $50 commitment, such as myself hahaha
I am one who got the Fellisimos and found the company very decent to deal with. I had to pause the subscription a couple of times because of holidays and they were so accommodating. Love those pencils very much...

I just found you but I’m so sorry hearing about your daughter. You and your family will be in my prayers. I was bullied bad in school too and it was horrible. I don’t know how old she is but it’s a long road but family support means everything. What helped me was self defense classes. The physical activity and the ability to protect myself helped so much. Therapy is really important too.
I have the squares....and I also have a 160 of rounds and they actually are diff (laydown, colors, core thickness, etc). I use budget when I'm just practicing, doing tutorials or messing with a new technique/subject. Helps to reserve my expensive polys and lums for commission work.

Oh no, so sorry to hear about what had happened to your daughter :/ Totally understand if you don't want to pump out so many reviews in the future or cancel the channel altogether. Family and friends come first and always should, especially when times are hard and really calling for families to stick together. I've always felt like an oddball in school and felt bullied for most of my school years and I've been lucky and really thankful to have my family around back then (and nowadays). Thank you for your dedication and this honest review; I didn’t knew this brand !! I tend to neglect the paper quality when I use colored pencils ( because most of the time, I work with mixed media). As a human being and as a mom, I completely understand that your family comes first. I personally believe that people will still come around your work and reviews even if you take a (very necessary) break from it. When a new brand or any news about colored pencils pops out, I simply think of your reviews; you became a cornerstone reference and thus can work at your own pace. ( Hope what I wrote makes sense as I am not an english native !)

I was watching your other video of the over 520 pencils which would I think overwhelm me in trying to keep this amount of pencils organized. Anyway, I was searching for more of your wisdom on TH-cam and came across this page. My heart ached for you, your daughter and wife for what your daughter had to endure. I find as I get older I see that kids can get cruelest and it needs to stop. I hope everyone is trying to move on from this horrible incident. As parents, we would gladly carry their pain. When it comes to our family, we, as parents have the heavy burden of holding how we feel within and just show, support and give our love to our children. My husband and I faced a most difficult challenge in that my 17 year old son was killed by a drunk driver. Even though we were suffering inside, we held it together for our 14 year old daughter who worshiped our son. It was a very difficult time for all of us. Hubby and I both went back to work in a week. I worked for a trial attorney who needed me. They say time heals all pain, but the time seemed to move slower. We are all fine. I pray that, mostly your precious daughter, is moving on. It will take time but I just know you and your wife have given her all your love with bunches of hugs and words of support. God Bless you.

Hope shes feeling better, my daughter just turned 18 pn Saturday, shes been suffering depression due to bullying previously at school, she lost her great nana and grandma last year due to covid and it hit her badly she tried to take her own life, shes better than she was but now getting the help she needs x

I want to buy a decent middle price color pencils but some of the prices I saw online our very expensive. I am so sorry for how your Daughter was treated. I know how it feels. I was bullied terrably in school and ended up with an ulcer at 10 years old. Everywere I went for school I was bullied. To this day I do not make friends easyly. I know I have scares from it. Love her make sure she gets all the help she needs. My parents were not that smart I did not get the help I needed.

THEN IT didn't matter win or loose I was let's go!! & I never planned on losing..They backed off.. I wasn't that SHY LITTLE Girl,that I was.. I taught my girls how to fight for DEFENCE.. I Took kickboxing as an adult.i would take them to the ground.. Okay this IS WHERE Most men &??? wants you, soo get out of my hold..etc..ONE had to use it, Like me it took alot to make me mad but once there.. it was ON!! maybe A self defense class?? will give her strength to stand tall.She will learn discipline with it too..We CAN'T Always be there, a sense of knowing I can IF I NEED TOO I can.. I am AGAINST VIOLENCE 100%.. It does help a child to be impowered.. even Dad or Mom buying Gloves & mitts?? I know it's hard for a child to believe this too shall PASS... I Hope the principle stepped in. My oldest in middle school stood up to 2 mean girls threatening a group of shy kids.. then they threatened her.. 1 was in 5 of her classes. I IMMEDIATELY Called and told him 'When my Child leaves my home to school it IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT HER' I Explained what happened.. He jumped on it so fast took 1 out of her classes.. no more said to her.. Now I have Compassion he said 1 girl had to raise 5 siblings.. I said that's sad..BUT It doesn't excuse her bullying others.. I mean I feel for the girl. You do understand the Pain and rage a parent goes through for their Children.. I have 4.. I've dealt with just about everything.. I have Forgiveness I am Praying for.. I am a changed person, yet those times I still have scars.. I WILL PRAY FOR HER..Y'ALL I WILL.. It is a bad time.. wrong us right, right us wrong.. One last. Is I taught my kids YOUR WORTH COMES FROM GOD!! NOT what people say you are..,think you are.. Now for kids teens that's hard to believe..I know. I am here for you or your wife.. I have 3 daughters who would help her 20,26,30. & son 16.. he has problems we talk alot.. The good news that with time and help things got a lot better. Do whatever you need to do for you and your family to get through this. If you can't do many reviews for a while so be it. Don't stop drawing for yourself though, it may be the only thing that keeps you going. My mistake was not to make a small amount of time for me because my girl needed me so much. But it's a bit like the aeroplane oxygen mask if you put yours on you can help them next.
As for your channel Harry, we'll be here for you when you get the time to get back but you and your family must always come first.

They just started floating around my recommendations and thought I trust the company in providing pretty good pencils, having 520 colors makes me doubt how distinct each color would be from one another. They’re probably trying to attract people who have thought about subscribing to the Felissimo 500 colored pencils but couldn’t commit to the uncancelable monthly $50 commitment, such as myself hahaha
I am one who got the Fellisimos and found the company very decent to deal with. I had to pause the subscription a couple of times because of holidays and they were so accommodating. Love those pencils very much...

Good review of these Brutfuner square pencils! The sharpening isn't an issue with a Dahle 133 or a sharpener with a larger opening in my experience. I love them!

I just found you but I’m so sorry hearing about your daughter. You and your family will be in my prayers. I was bullied bad in school too and it was horrible. I don’t know how old she is but it’s a long road but family support means everything. What helped me was self defense classes. The physical activity and the ability to protect myself helped so much. Therapy is really important too.
I have the squares....and I also have a 160 of rounds and they actually are diff (laydown, colors, core thickness, etc). I use budget when I'm just practicing, doing tutorials or messing with a new technique/subject. Helps to reserve my expensive polys and lums for commission work.

Oh no, so sorry to hear about what had happened to your daughter :/ Totally understand if you don't want to pump out so many reviews in the future or cancel the channel altogether. Family and friends come first and always should, especially when times are hard and really calling for families to stick together. I've always felt like an oddball in school and felt bullied for most of my school years and I've been lucky and really thankful to have my family around back then (and nowadays).

Thank you for your dedication and this honest review; I didn’t knew this brand !! I tend to neglect the paper quality when I use colored pencils ( because most of the time, I work with mixed media).
As a human being and as a mom, I completely understand that your family comes first. I personally believe that people will still come around your work and reviews even if you take a (very necessary) break from it. When a new brand or any news about colored pencils pops out, I simply think of your reviews; you became a cornerstone reference and thus can work at your own pace. ( Hope what I wrote makes sense as I am not an english native !)

I am so happy that I found your channel. You provide so much information which helps beginners like me understand the colored pencil world. You are the best and most honest person in giving your opinions. I was watching your other video of the over 520 pencils which would I think overwhelm me in trying to keep this amount of pencils organized. Anyway, I was searching for more of your wisdom on TH-cam and came across this page. My heart ached for you, your daughter and wife for what your daughter had to endure. I find as I get older I see that kids can get cruelest and it needs to stop. I hope everyone is trying to move on from this horrible incident. As parents, we would gladly carry their pain. When it comes to our family, we, as parents have the heavy burden of holding how we feel within and just show, support and give our love to our children. My husband and I faced a most difficult challenge in that my 17 year old son was killed by a drunk driver. Even though we were suffering inside, we held it together for our 14 year old daughter who worshiped our son. It was a very difficult time for all of us. Hubby and I both went back to work in a week. I worked for a trial attorney who needed me. They say time heals all pain, but the time seemed to move slower. We are all fine. I pray that, mostly your precious daughter, is moving on. It will take time but I just know you and your wife have given her all your love with bunches of hugs and words of support. God Bless you.

I too had some issues with sharpening but am glad to see that this is more an issue at the beginning of the pencils usage. Much as I enjoy your channel I agree that family must always come first. Hope shes feeling better, my daughter just turned 18 pn Saturday, shes been suffering depression due to bullying previously at school, she lost her great nana and grandma last year due to covid and it hit her badly she tried to take her own life, shes better than she was but now getting the help she needs x

Awwww ur such a sweet man. I love your accent and your attitude. I’m just starting out and I enjoy do cartooning. I want to buy a decent middle price color pencils but some of the prices I saw online our very expensive. I appreciate everything you said in this video and agree everyone budget is different especially now during covid. I kn my budget is tight yet I want decent pencils ✏️.
I am so sorry for how your Daughter was treated. I know how it feels. I was bullied terrably in school and ended up with an ulcer at 10 years old. Everywere I went for school I was bullied. To this day I do not make friends easyly. I know I have scares from it. Love her make sure she gets all the help she needs. My parents were not that smart I did not get the help I needed.

I taught my kids 3 girls one boy to ALWAYS Stick up for ANYONE being bullied..Unfortunately they have had too.. the hardest time is being in school, it can be the CRUELLEST TIME OF THEIR LIVES. ( I Hope this helps her to know it WILL NOT ALWAYS BE LIKE THIS My son had issues He does talk to me now...and it does help him to know DO NOT!!,.. MAKE A PERMANENT Solution to something TEMPORARY.. I Grew up as my Dad said Rich is smart with grades Now Marta is 'Street Smart' lol.. ( commonsense.. I think is the word.. I went into management in banking until my disease). I grew up in a tough neighborhood..I learned how to hold my own at about middle school.some girls in elementary bullied me, i was shy.. THEN IT didn't matter win or loose I was let's go!! & I never planned on losing..They backed off.. I wasn't that SHY LITTLE Girl,that I was.. I taught my girls how to fight for DEFENCE.. I Took kickboxing as an adult.i would take them to the ground.. Okay this IS WHERE Most men &??? wants you, soo get out of my hold..etc..ONE had to use it, Like me it took alot to make me mad but once there.. it was ON!! maybe A self defense class?? will give her strength to stand tall.She will learn discipline with it too..We CAN'T Always be there, a sense of knowing I can IF I NEED TOO I can.. I am AGAINST VIOLENCE 100%.. It does help a child to be impowered.. even Dad or Mom buying Gloves & mitts?? I know it's hard for a child to believe this too shall PASS... I Hope the principle stepped in. My oldest in middle school stood up to 2 mean girls threatening a group of shy kids.. then they threatened her.. 1 was in 5 of her classes. I IMMEDIATELY Called and told him
'When my Child leaves my home to school it IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT HER' I Explained what happened.. He jumped on it so fast took 1 out of her classes.. no more said to her.. Now I have Compassion he said 1 girl had to raise 5 siblings.. I said that's sad..BUT It doesn't excuse her bullying others.. I mean I feel for the girl. You do understand the Pain and rage a parent goes through for their Children.. I have 4.. I've dealt with just about everything.. I have Forgiveness I am Praying for..
I am a changed person, yet those times I still have scars.. I WILL PRAY FOR HER..Y'ALL I WILL.. It is a bad time.. wrong us right, right us wrong.. One last.
