SURFING IN TAHITI: BEYOND THE WAVE - OCEAN JOURNALS EP. 11

While I was realizing one of my dreams, surfing in the crystal clear waters of Teahupo'o (Taihti), which I document in my previous episode, EP.10 of Ocean Journals (TEAHUPO'O, THE WAVE FROM INSIDE) I had the great opportunity between swells to experience one of the best experiences of my life in reference to travel.
This episode of Ocean Journals, as it is titled, "beyond the wave" goes beyond surfing tubes in Teahupo'o, and is that with the help of my great friend @Ariihoe Tefaafana I know the island from another perspective. Ariihoe Tefaafana is a local I've known for many years, a "charger" as it is usually called to surfers who surf from big waves and compete at a high level getting good results, besides having competed on some occasions.
He has welcomed me to the island and has acted as my host, showing me every corner as if I were a local, I have lived a 100% local experience, visiting extraordinary and paradisiacal places, hidden corners, fishing in the open sea, and above all enjoying the company of his surfing, among many other things. I'll just let you know that he takes me to Moorea, one of the 118 islands that make up French Polynesia; you'll discover the rest for yourselves by watching the whole chapter.
