I let my EHTBP Batch 13 sit in the glass for about 20 today before I had my neck pour. Camped out to get a bottle. You know how it is.
The tasting notes I have: punchy, punchy, punchy. I don't think it's like hot. But the proof and the flavors literally smack you in the head.
Probably about a 2 minute finish on it. I understand the lighting you up.

How do you feel in regards to the profile of the oakley vs watch hill?

Watch Hill is slightly more complex than this 129pf Oakley, but the Oakley is much deeper and richer. Less obvious oak funk on Oakley but more pure chocolatey flavor. It would be hard to pick favorites, but personally if I had an endless supply of each, I’d likely reach for the Oakley more often. That said, some of the upcoming Oakleys combine facets of both of these, so they’re the best of both worlds.
Editing to say you just cannot lose with the 20yr HH that’s been released so far: Believe 20, WHP20, Oakley 20, etc
