This is how I travel. The simple things, no frills. Video has brought back some poignant memories, some happy, some sad. Went to Tijuana (after my divorce) from San Diego, too, and I felt like I was really in another country, though only a walk away! Food looked delicious! Those tacos! I like that this is only a few minutes long-enough time to eat while enjoying WanderBeard's wandering. May I suggest a little bit more shots of the scapes, my brother. Tnx for the memories!!!
Don't worry, lots more of the landscapes to come as my trip continues. I was only in TJ for a day, so I didn't have much opportunity to go farther out (plus no car, traveling by bus). Next time try a taco place called "LOS ALBANILES". I've been going there since 1995, they are some of the best tacos in town and all around a good restaurant.

Hope you can make it to more mexican cities, La Paz is also in the peninsula and is beautiful, greetings from monterrey mx, a big city but with little tourism
I live in Baja MX in the tiny border town of Tecate. I regularly cross to check my P.O. Box, sometimes I forgot my passport and cross with a regular CA ID
I crossed the US/Tijuana border for over 45 years just with my California ID .They got a little more strict after 9/11 they wanted everyone to carry a passport but even then I continue to cross with just my CA drivers license .I was only told once that I should carry my passport ,of course I didn't because I didn't and still don't have one .

As long as you have a Canadian passport, that's all you need. Good for up to 180 days. ✌️

I think it depends on the situation too. If I showed a drivers license from my home province in Canada, that definitely wouldnt work. 😂
