- Accountancy Interview sketch from the YTV series Sez Les.
Sez Les ran for 11 series between 1969 and 1976. During a couple of the 1971 shows and throughout the two series in 1974 John Cleese appeared regularly alongside Les Dawson.
A number of the sketches that John Cleese appeared in have a certain Pythonesque feel to them although as far as I'm aware he didn't contribute to the writing on the show.
Les did a remarkable spit-take at 2:45. Machine gunner Jackson is Gordon Kaye, from 'Allo 'Allo.
Les Dawson was a comic genius, though his stand up monologues were better than his sketches like this one, He and John Cleese were very close friends
Seems to work well though
A masterpiece
1:47 The bomb bounced! LOL
Lovely stuff. Thank you very much for uploading, Moriarty0001.
Amazing
0:26 Les nearly loosing it again lol
This is magic!
Very cool video
Les doesn't half look like Dim (Warren Clarke) from A Clockwork Orange in this sketch!
right, right
Doobiedoob, a bit tired maybe, best not to say more. Bedways is rightways now, so best we go homeways and get a bit of spatchka.
@@probablygraham Said well, O my brother, I'll be munching away at eggiwegs, and lomticks of toast and lovely steakiwegs
(there's no quote after Dim's last line so I used a different one :P)
Probably the strangest comic pairing of all time
I agree. I don't know if I like it.
But it works!
Enjoyable super comic effect.
Tres bien
Not an ordinary day, it seems
Jeronimo!
genius
Cup of coffee ☕️ roulette 😆
Add a bit of Reggie O'Connell in there and you've got a perfect Comedy Skit...Oooooohjiwagiwagiwagiooooooooooh
haha funny stuff
It must have been a lot like this at Bernie Madoff's office.
.
All the time only he and one other knowing that at anytime the whole thing could all ... blow up and shit hit the fan etc.
.
John Cleese...WOO! x
