I'm late to the party, but the 808 kick is my favorite. However, I'm personally fond of the kick from the humble Boss DR-110; it has a grain to it I love. Also, the Rhodes...what a sound. Thanks for your enthusiasm! It makes these times a bit easier.
How can anyone dislike this considering what we're all going through right now? Giving us all hope and good vibes! Love your positivity and the track was ace. Looking forward to your next video Claudio, stay safe!
Man, out of a lot of the videos I've watched, this is one of my favorite ones!! He was jammin!!! Gives me warm memories of having jam sessions with musicians in the studio just makin up stuff!! Awesome set up with the analog Roland machines!! 808 & 909 with a CR-8000??? Analog HEAVEN!! I'm feelin the ERM-multiclock and that machine he was using to record the sequences. 808, 909 and Rhodes? You can go wrong!!
That was a great chilled jazzy vibe . Sitting on beach in evening ibiza chilled house music , love that jazzy piano man. Awesome very talented. More more.
Claudio, About that last segment. I heard what you were saying. You're right. We are lucky, alive, safe and we should honor this luck of being artists, being nourished by beauty and energy that music gives. You're a part of it. I don't know what you are going thru right now, but keep that flame that enlighting you. Enjoy!
Loving your energy in this video! So full of positivity and creativity, an absolute pleasure to watch! Also the 8000 was my favourite kick, it had that mid range thump and warmth!
That joy you have is infectious Dr. Mix....July4th weekend I was in the house and downloaded some Rhodes and moog stuff from Jamal Hartwell....dude I was smiling ear to ear for hrs while I wrote...reminded me of your videos. Be blessed!
Thanks for everything you do, I really appreciate your passion and you always play things I’m interested in. I’ve started getting back into making music because of you; I bought a Korg Microkorg at the end last year. I’d wanted one since I saw it in Muzik magazine around 2003. I love it! Peace and love.
I think this has become my favorite video to listen at, I could hear this jam in an infinite loop to study or do some work. Thanks for the good vibe doctor F Mix!
They are all good. They all serve a purpose together. They basically need each other in the studio. It's all about the kits. Get a 727 to go with that.
Thank you Claudio for your energy and musical awesomeness! Really does help make things feel better and we get to learn and be inspired , so all good! Stay safe yourself mate
Your best session ever DR! so fun and inspiring to watch your work flow! learning a lot from you guys always. be strong my friends, and tnx for the good vibes ! be safe from Tel-Aviv
Roland CR 8000 ... I met "him" in 1982 when my mother was touring ... I was 6 at that time:) I still remember how much fun it was to play with it ... Especially the tempo knob, haha
@@Doctormix Yes ... She was still very famous at that time in former Yugoslavia; she was in Eurovision contest representing Yugoslavia in 1970 Amsterdam etc. So in the summer time from 1980 onwards I was with her and her bend "touring" in todays Slovenia, Croatia etc. They had minimoog, Fender Rhodes piano, VOX organs, Hammond organs, this drum machine, Roland JX3P, Yamaha DX7 of course and I managed to save from going in to the trashbin a small bass version of Fender Rhodes, but idiot have solded it years ago:) ... All of the equpiment from the 70, 80 era was not so IN in the early 90s (as you know), so they sold it all:)) So I have a great memmories of the real deal synts and this machine ...
This was an amazingly useful video, with a positive vibe as bonus. It seems opportunistic to put in a request when you already give so much, but more videos of this type where we can hear you actually playing even if it's improv would be highly welcome. That setup with the Rolands poly and mono on top of the Rhodes and the Moog on the left makes so much sense!
I don't play a single instrument, but I just liked and subscribed because I know I can always count on good music and positivity on this channel, and that means a lot, especially now. Keep up the great work, Claudio! Grazie mille!
I enjoy watching you create and replicate sounds. If was in the same position I’d also want to have authentic pieces of equipment. It’s nice to see that you appreciate and cherish the gear that you have.
Thank you for sharing your time and positive energy along with your message of hope and this beautiful live set... (You do care!. ) lol!!.... Peace onto you my brother
I am just vibing on your joy for the music!! Makes me so happy to see someone with that much passion for the classic sounds! Thanks for this! Btw...909 fovever my friend!!
At first, I was off put by your style, but once I realized that you really are this wonderful, enthusiastic, vintage synth fan. and you r one hell of a musician. I now find your postings fun, funny, and, especially, inspiring for my creative process. Your stuff reminds me it’s PLAYING music! You might “work it”, but it’s still play. peace on you. Love that classic gear! You are having so much fun. Peace and Health. thank you.
@@karlt3026 Not in this economy :p (insert stock joke about the price of a steak in Canada) But like I said, my drum machine and budget Rock Band MIDI keyboard keep me plenty entertained. Hope you're safe and entertained wherever you are quarantined.

you are a person make this world worthy for living ! wish u best man !
I'm literally binge watching this, it's makes learning music fun.
The 909 is still gets me excited every time 😉☺️
Yes a lot of it was mostly used in house music.
@Steven Bakos If you think, the 909 Is a 'Frankenstein' : Analog Percussion sounds except the cymbals (sampled sounds).
Ruff Fusion Plays yup 👍🏻
The 909 is probably the toughest analog percussion unit. It's quite hard to get those tough percussion sounds out of a synth
@@annother3350 Actually, 909 Is a Analog/digital Hybrid. The closed and open hi-hat and crash were sampled.
Your energy and entusiasme is really uplifting to watch while all this is going on. Keep it up 🙂

The drummachines are cool, but it's your playing the keys that glues it all together. Especially liked your solo on the 1000 and Rhodes at the end.
Even though i can do all of this with samples on fl studio with my laptop, real hardware is still so satisfying to watch

that satisfying sub of an 808 kick all day long ..with a bit of eq and saturation on the top freq cuts through any mix... sounds warm and fulfilling😊

8000 all day long for the kick.
808 for the snare!
@Rufus D Tonebug Don't forget the rimshot and cowbell on 808

You deserve the absolute best! That Rhodes sent through the Roland tape delay is a BEAST!
Dang! This was good! I got inspired and laid down a beat, then almost a whole track, and resumed watching the video hahaha. Grande Claudio!

Masterful, inspiring, tons of good vibes, GRAZIE MILLE MAESTRO !
silky buttery smooth those vibes. jeez that was good energy
Very Happy Man!!! I like it too see you like this!!!
909 of course! Just love that hard hitting kick. 808 is sweet too and gets super deep, but for me, the 909 is where its at!
Thanks for the music Claudio, Stay safe my friend.
what I love is the simplicity of just Jaming. someone who can actually play a keyboard
I heard the TR8S at guitar center and was blown away. It was really well built. It sounded like these. Really nice video.
Great stuff, Claudio. Thank you for this moment of pure joy in those hard times.Take care.
