I can smell that bread from Pennsylvania! Smells great. Enjoyed the fun snow machining!
Oh my goodness my favorite homemade bread
Looks like you both had a great time. Your craft project turned out super cute Stacy. Gary the ending with you guys snowmobiling was awesome 😊
Watching the boys having fun was lovely but I would rather stay home making gorgeous bread it's a shame we couldn't smell it ha ha..The door hanger is so perfect for what you have coming up great vlog as always.
Smell-o-vision would be great wouldn't it. Thanks for watching Maria.
Hi, l love homemade bread, l used to make it for years, but l know l have to get family to make it for me, l only have 1 good arm since my accident 10 years ago, this VALENTINE DAY will be 11 years, hugsssss ❤❤❤
Very Good! We enjoyed it immensely! Our love to you both.
We're so glad you enjoyed it! Have an awesome day!
I love the editing in this video! It is so different with footage from both perspectives. Beautiful scenery, fun with friends & home cooked bread... what could be better than that? Great video! ❤
Thanks so much!!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. I always enjoy them.
I’m starting to learn how to make sourdough and I remember your try! Nothing better than that bread in the world. 😊
I don’t usually comment, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of Spirit. Whenever I heard this thing in life, as well as a loss of a pet. And well for me, and I think for you as well. They are more than a pet. They are family. My dog Jax is my world.
Thank you again for all the beautiful videos and sharing your life in Alaska.
Katherine from Alberta 🇨🇦🙏
Katherine, thank you for your kind words. We feel the same about our fur babies.
WOW....looks delicious, hugsssss ❤❤❤
It was! 😋 Thanks for watching!

At home after surgery, I was looking forward to your video. Stunning scenery with Gary (take care) and sourdough bread with Stacey, just the ticket! Sourdough seems to be taking over and it's all I buy now. It is costly here in England though with half a loaf costing £1.85 compared to a full wholemeal loaf being around £1.20. I just love the density and taste of sourdough. I'm also looking forward to your upcoming travels and videos! Loving all content. ❤ from Yorkshire, England
Oh no... I hope you are healing up well. Thanks for watching!
❤
Hi from Maine, I loved watching Gary & his buddies riding their snowmobiles plus the scenery was beautiful ❤
Yes it is amazing riding and scenery up there. I hope to join Gary up there next time if conditions allow.
Really like you guys👍
Thank you for watching. 🥰
Video of the landing or his flight never happened!😂 Glad you're ok Gary! Looks like y'all had some fun, glad to see it. 😊
Yes I wish he could have caught it. Our friend Lia saw the flight and she proclaimed a 10 out of a 10. What’s funny is you can clearly see his path in the snow he did indeed fly! LOL He said when he landed he was under the snow and couldn’t tell which way was up. He had to feel around until he found the surface. 😳
Beautiful scenery...
Yes it was. Gary did a good job capturing it.
It’s fun to see you out on your snow machines. My husband and cousins worked for Polaris as we live near Polaris and Artic Cat factories. The sourdough bread looks amazing! ❤❤❤
Thank you, we love riding our snow machines and just glad we can still find some snow right now.
What a fantastic episode, loved it. Sourdough is awesome looking. I cannot believe the pupper was so entangled in the blanket. Gary adventures looked like he had awesome time too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Miss Dee. Some of my sourdough inspiration comes from you!
Loved this blog , northern lights were beautiful, and sour dough bread looked delicious x ❤
It was! Thanks for watching.
Great video, from baking bread to wild adventure on snowmobiles. No idea how you guys knew where you were. Love the wall decoration you made. Bread looks so yummy. 😊
The cabin owner has been riding out there for years so it’s imprinted in his brain. Without him… yeah we’d be lost. LOL 😂
Great video today. Looks so cold even tho I know it's different this year. You can keep your 20 degree weather up there instead of the lower 48. Great demo on sour dough. I use the discards for cookies, quick breads and brownies. Thank you for sharing.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I love using my discards in baking too! Usually crackers.
Thanks for sharing your videos 👍
You're welcome! Hope you enjoyed!
❤❤😊😊
Stacey your sour dough turned out beautiful. High five to the crispy edges! Ive heard of those products, i may give them a try. Thank you Gary for sharing all the views with us. Hope you two have a good week.
You too can purchase the travel size to give it a try before committing to the regular size bottles. It’s an amazing product and am happy I tried it.
Thats some bigbwild country
Yes it is. 😍
I wished you had a camera mount on your snow machine to get the feel and excitement of your ride. Enjoying your channel from Southern Arkansas.
Yes. We’ve been trying to find better equipment to do that. Our GoPro always freezes up and quits. We just bought a new action cam and hopefully it will do better so we can bring you more action footage.
We have no snow in Spokane. We are suppose to get some this weekend.
It finally returned 2 days ago. But only about a half inch. Luckily it’s been cold so it hasn’t melted away.
Sounds likea good mud mask i really llike mud masks
We live in central California and we are so dry this year.
It’s been a crazy winter for sure. Hoping for rain for you all down there and no more winds.
Stacy I am getting ready to make my first sourdough bread. What is the best starter to use and do you have any good tips for me. Love watching your videos and thank you for sharing.
My starter was a gift and was started over 130 years ago back in Pennsylvania. I have never started my own as I have managed to keep this one going since 2022 when given to me. I will say however there are a ton of videos on YT you can look up... you will be quickly addicted. Best of luck.
Petersville got dumped on this last weekend. something like 5 feet of snow in about 48 hrs.
😳 whoa that’s a lot! Hopefully you made it out to your cabin. I was watching the drama unfold online on Oil Well. Take care friend.
@LivingFreeAlaska thinking of going up sometime this weekend.
My wife loves your fox P.J’s, do you remember where you got them? Thanks Greg
Yes. They are from Duluth Trading Company.
I’ve never used sour dough starter have seen a few recipes to start but not sure
I highly recommend you give it a try. It's super easy and fun.
What are you guys hunting for this time of year?
No hunting just protection from wildlife. That was our buddy who owns the cabin they rode out to.
