Very nice condo and views for just over GBP46,000 plus cheap maintenance fee of GBP12 per month. I love it. Hopefully one is available when I come over early next year.

Spacious condo! All the new condos are like shoe boxes - I'd be constantly running into furniture or walls. These older condos have much more space for the money. If I ever buy a condo in Thailand, I'll look for an older one like this.

I really like the 48 sqm place--it's enough room for me and a great price. That one bedroom place (145 sqm) is fantastic but has more space than I really need.

That 56,700 into pounds was approx 55 grand, i have just purchased a house for my son and his family after leaving the forces, i could have got a few at this price, 60 in a few months and i am so close to selling up and moving and Thailand is looking number one

Think of it this way. Air travel is cheap and you can take flights to some very interesting destinations. Don’t spend all your time in Thailand.
From what I remember, you technically just need to cross over the border, renew, and then return. You could probably eventually work toward citizenship as well, but I don't really know about that part

The big one studio is 1.99M THB and then it goes up tremendously for the one bedroom to 9M THB. From $50k to $240k is a lot! Sadly to say I can only afford the big one. 😅

You may not even be around in 12 years. So many people making plans like life is forever. I've lost 4 really close friends in the last 5 years - all but 1 of them under 50. Their plans are all moot now.
