Honestly I didn't hear it the right way the first time. Now that I listened again that hit really hard. I had my daughter taken from me by someone that convinced my ex they didn't need me in my daughter's life. Missed eight years all for him to eventually leave them both high and dry. For me if your partner reads through every conversation on your phone it's like if they were standing next to you every time you want to talk to someone which is invasive for me.

Interesting story on that note, I talked with a guy who had to do certain internal medical examinations on women before as part of his job. To not gross anyone out, I'll just say that he became a lot more selective of where he put things after that experience because of what he saw.
