This the first interview I ever heard Mary j talk about the truth of her relationship with k-ci...I didn't know they were engaged ...but I knew he was violent /abusive towards her and she took it..I thought Tina took alot from Ike...but Mary j suffered alot from K-ci...and I liked him as far as a singer in jodeci...he disappointed me as a man ...I'm glad she moved on and never looked back....you are a strong ..very strong woman Mary j...i love u alot Mary j...cause u are the voice ...for women for us women who also experienced bad relationship who deals with abusive men who disrespect women by over powering them with their fist....I have a name for that C O W A R D S....
So glad I never went through this. Young girls with their romantic hopes get slashed; knocked down by some guy. Men who never care or even cared about you. They just blame YOUR heartbreak on YOU and walk away from you as though you were not even there. I have never experienced it but I feel for you ladies. The good thing now is that both of them agrees that they were quite young with fame and money. He also admitted recently that he did so some bad stuff to her..they've both moved on and none of them bad mouthed each other over the years besides agreeing the relationship was toxic. But Mary came out on top as she end of having longer lasting and prolific career which is still going strong today!! She was molested and her father abandoned her and her siblings, then she dropped out of school and shortly after began her career. She has admitted to all these things, this is what she portrays in her music. She has been hurt abandoned, used and abused. But no one made her "snort" anything
