Disney cast member here, fun fact the animatronics of Pirates of the Caribbean have a tendency to move even when they are shut off, this happens so often that security routinely resets motion sensors on that ride every single night
I don't know what it is about all these Merryville sketches, but they ALL do such an incredible job of acting like actual robots. HOW to they pull off this herky jerkyness is beyond me, but it's awesome to see!
I just saw this for the first time. I am a Boomer Old Fart. Acting, writing and directing is just pitch perfect . Yes Bruno Mars adds an extra dimension to it and of course he can pull it off ! I have to add this to the Best Of Lists . Like sketches from Laugh In, Your Show of Shows, the Honeymooners this is definitely a Classic .
You know this concept might actually make a good horror movie, someone going into a haunted house and then all of a sudden all of A sudden all of the fake monsters become real monsters or at least the robot animatronic monsters become sentient
First time seeing this sketch and it's *so good* !!! It tickles me because I love Disney's Haunted Mansion. Props to Bruno and Taran and Bill and Tom for their work here, it's spooky good fun.
