At first Pharita's voice completely stood out for me but as I'm listening to this cover again n again ahyeon's voice grew upon me. I really likes her kinda low registered husky singing voice. She adds a different flavour to the song
true ahyeon is really the balance of this team and this group she will be the key of babymonster she is good in all deparment even her harmonization is insane the fact that her throat ain't even in a good condition but she singing like this is insane.
Jennie's good and wise ,but Lisa was there for "objective criticism" so ofcourse she is going to be a bit strict and i genuinely think a Lil bit harsh truth stays a long way in our brain rather than calm advice. I loved pharita. The. Voice was beautiful
What do you mean “objective criticism”, one has to be an asshole to deliver advice? Jennie gave them the message both LOUD AND CLEAR, advice of their career, without being an asshole or harsh! You seen to be the type of person who yields by the belt not by reasoning (which is Jen’s type of parenting/advice) people like you, and the style you advocate, is the reason human beings are lacking! They don’t THINK for themselves, they want people to TELL them what to do and how to do it! Get the fk out with your “objective criticism” bullshit
I think the only thing that needs to improve with this performance is Ruka's pronunciation. Her lisp is also getting in the way. But this can be worked on. I'm curious how improved she is now. Other than that it's sooooo gooood. And Ahyeon really nailed the gooone part despite her throat's condition. Edit: As for the translation, there are nuances to Korean language that's hard to get immediately if you're not used to it. Just like in other languages. For example, as Haram explained, "mip" is not just plain hate, but "little bit hate". But in the Google translation, it says "I hate you so much." So it's definitely not just for the show lol It's just conscientiousness on their part and that's admirable.
they didn't use eng trans because they want her to understand the real meaning of that particular korean word. the english translation tend to make the real meaning of a word a little bit shifted
I never thought Jennie pointed out what missed in the performance, they might be praised that they are really talented but performing is about delivering message and entetain the audience not about showing off how good u re. I like how YG is so toughtful and it comes from Jennie, the 'Stage Presence Queen' and the next episode is supervision from the 'Dance Queen' Lalisa
They lyrics aren't straight forward and direct. She is only thirteen years old. Just reading the lyrics is not going to give her a deep understanding to what the essence of the song is about.
Pharita voice are so clean and clear.. I can't wait to hear Rora's voice too
