I love the ink blending and using the grey. I know to use grey primer when painting walls with dark paint colors. Never crossed my mind to do that with inks too.
These were both beautiful and very well explained card techniques. Also I loved the tip about the lazy susan, I've got a couple sitting around my craft room, so I'm going to have to try that.
Hi Shannon. Thank you so much for showing how to create these beautiful cards. I think Shawn's stencils are wonderful. I enjoyed this video, because I learned how to give a flowers and circles extra dimension when I ink blend them.❤

when your ink blending there are a few things that help produce great results... the paper you use and the type of ink you use... if you have a hard time getting a good blend, the most "blend-friendly" ink I found is Distress Oxides by Ranger. It helps. As far as paper, the most cost-effective paper that will give you great results is either Neenah Classic Crest (80# or 100# are what I use) or Hammermill 80 or 100 # (the one with the chameleon on the front of the package)... Thanks for watching and good luck on your card-making journey.

Beautiful cards - great tip about using the gray ink first! I love the circles, but I'd make a huge smudgy mess trying something like that. 😂
I’m fascinated with the world of card making. I’m just starting out and have not tried ink and ink blending yet. You make it look easy!

You could also use those drying racks for cakes/cookies to dry the stencils too I think! ^.^
I really love how that circle one turned out!! ^.^ ♥
I am not good at blending but I do love these cards
