Hey man, I’m sorry to hear about the tragedies In your life but what a plane you are working with now. Glad you are back and looking forward to following along with your adventures!
Do not just replace the wing walk. AvGas vapor finds it way through the Philips screws and dissolves the glue of the wing walk. Put some liquid seal (avgas compatible) on the screws (after you loose them slightly to reach under the screwheads). This fixed the problem on my Mooney. Good luck!

The only difference really in the ovation 3 is the 310hp at 2700 RPMs and you can take off with the AC on if you have that option. it comes standard with the Gamin G1000 panel and Garmin GFC-700 digital auto pilot. The Ovation 2 comes with the Garmin 530 and 430. That’s the only difference between the Ovation and the ovation 2. The ovation came with Bendix/King Radio/ GPS
No. It’s the 280hp. I didn’t want to upgrade when I got the the governor overhauled. I might in the future. TBO goes down to 1700 with the 310. Goes to 2700 RPMs instead of 2500
It’s a very hard decision. The IFD is easier when your flying an approach on how it puts the next fix and distance on the right side of the screen along with the GPS. The 750 does not have that option. So you have to go in and out of screens. Garmins graphics are a little better. It’s really a toss up for me. For the price difference the IFD all day.
“Ovay -shun”. NOT “Ovay-zhun”. (Non similar to invasion). Also….the gauges are analog…..not dialogue. Plan $10,000 to replace ALL the engine instrument gauges when any ONE of them fails. They are non-serviceable.

Nice plane- looking good. Music volume is ridiculously loud- almost blew out my speakers. Tone it down please, it doesn't need to be that loud!

Easy to pop an Aspen in there and ditch your vacuum system.
The speed brakes probably work on vacuum too, it's quite the upgrade to go electric with the speed brake.
