    I spoke with Anthony about this car a few days ago, let me tell you how refreshing it is to hear that he is exactly the same on the phone as he is in the videos. The guy really knows his stuff, really cares about the cars and is extremely honest. Really appreciate all of your hardwork Anthony. Will be in touch again soon!

    This car marks the end of an era for Cadillac and General Motors. Of all the Cadillacs built, this model is by far the most iconic. Perhaps a bit Reaganesque, this car would look good in any collection and truly has a real touch of class. No modern BMW or Audi is nearly as nice.

      What?...a modern BMW or Audi...and even one of the same period of this car..is a far more technologically advanced car
      Quite honestly...you would not have seen a German car of this period with that faux wood( plastic) across all the interior
      Granted this car is a LOT less expensive but it not a pinnacle of technology or luxury for this time period
      By this time Lexus was killing it for about the same price of a Cadillac or Lincoln

    • @hakeemsd70m

      @@turnne Too bad the LS400 is one of the most forgettable looking cars of all time. Super bland styling. This Cadillac has style and elegance. I agree about the interior though, I never cared for anything inside there other than the sofa like seats.

    • @rb.6701
      @rb.6701 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@turnne "Technologically advanced" lol. In a few years all those electronics will be obsolete and broken and parts unobtanium while the Cadillac is still running and driving as intended, not to mention appreciating in value while the cars you mention only depreciate. The German cars will never be as comfortable as these sorts of cars either.

      @Plate [C] Of *all* the Cadillacs built, this is your choice for most iconic? Iconic is an overused word, but this Cadillac is definitely a special car for being the last of a breed. But “most iconic” would have to go to something like the ‘59 Cadillac just for its sheer standing in American pop culture.

    • @AaronSmith-kr5yf
      @AaronSmith-kr5yf 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most iconic Cadillac lol. Yeah it was really a throwback to the way Cadillacs used to be built, but with modern fuel injection and great reliability. In terms of design yes the square rigged Brougham is iconic, but Cadillac had much wilder looking cars in the 40's/50's/60's.

    Back when I was shopping for my first car I think it was 1995 I test drove one of these. It was tripple dark blue beautiful car I think it was the same year as this but it had almost 100,000 miles & he wanted almost $10,000 for it more than I had to spend but I fell in love with it and have wanted one ever since. I ended up getting a 1985 Ford LTD crown Victoria with 54,000 miles powder blue navy blue landou roof and blue interior and I paid $3,495 for it and loved it. Had for almost 10 years and kept it like brand new always. Miss that car also. I love these big cars. The is like nothing you will ever find today. Love your cars and one day I will make the drive from Brookline Massachusetts to purchase a car from you.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

    It doesn't get much better than that. You know this is a Cadillac, and that really meant something. Never mind that this car was a technological dinosaur even in 1992. That's not the point. Try to get that ride smoothness and comfort in anything available today, not to mention the ostentatious (in a great way) interior and the overall stateliness. Nearly impossible for any reasonable amount of money. Wish I had room in the garage...

    • @hakeemsd70m

      Yes, it's a shame that automotive magazines and publications killed the American luxury car. Cadillacs have been BMW clones ever since the ATS first arrived on the scene.

    I will say that the 5.0L is a very underrated engine. I owned a '91 Caprice w/ the 305, and it was responsive, smooth and pretty peppy, if not what we call "fast." I did not miss having the 350 in that car. It was sold at 195k miles, still running like the day it was born, and new owner happy to get it.

    I love this car, it reminds me of my brother. My older brother had a desert sand brown Brougham until someone stole it and wrecked it. Ever since my big brother passed away I wanted one. I just wished my mom didn't hate this car. She says "its a gangsters car and if your brother didn't have one he would've been alive today." This car brings back painful memories for her.

      We ( my wife ) had the last "Roadmaster" . What a car ! Was 10K cheaper as a Caddy, but had a better bigger engine, This baby was flying, when she sold it after 130 k miles this car never burned an ounce of oil ( maybe it did but almost nothing ) but there was not a "wet" spot underneath, never leaked anything, never had or have a car like this. We should have kept it, but we had already to many vehicles and who would have expected the downturn in our automobile industrie.

    This is one of my top favourite CAHs too. Here in DC we usually call em Bro-Hams and this is the nicest example. I fell in love with these when I was a kid. Dad had a 79' Sedan DeVille and remember the limo Jim Carey drove when he played Lloyd Christmas in Dumb and Dumber when he wrecked it at the airport 🤦🏾‍♂️. I really love the headlights when they switched to this design, same as the box Caprice ❤️. I have collected quite a few big body GMs myself. Had a 94' Caprice 9C1 and currently got a 96' Imp SS, 11' Caddy DTS Premium and 03' Escalade EXT. If I had the money now this would be added to my garage fleet today, way too nice to pass up and some things are priceless! You even got the original window sticker, gold keys, mats and she's absolutely pristine. That leather is insanely comfy.

    At 22 years of age I purchased one of these brand new from our local Cadillac Dealer. I was a Union Garbage Hauler making $13.05 per hour saved for 3 years paid 1/2 down cash and financed the rest. It was dark metallic grey with dove grey interior. Classic heavy grill and black tint windows. and a mobile radio telephone . Other than a Rolls Royce it was one of the nicest fanciest most expensive cars on the road Except for the exotics and maybe the Benz. Those where the days you got respect from business men because it was an American built icon.

This is not a good thing when you can buy a brand new 4 cyl Camry 2019 or 2020 for almost the same price as a 10 year old Camry 6 cyl with north of 200K miles. It's a good investment and all that jazz, but that's just not my scene.

    What a stunning "Cah", I own a 1988 Eldorado Biarritz, White exterior, White 1/4 Top, and Maroon leather and the "Moon Roof". it has some many of the same, Hood ornament, rear trunk opener, interior seats with all those buttons. Please go around the exterior and interior of the Cah and count how many times it says Cadillac or shows the emblem. There should be close to 100 reminders. Seats belt latches, sides of front seats, knobs and owners manual all count. Happy counting.

    Wow Anthony another great beautiful unit!! Just a awesome example of automotive history! Love the color and the interior color plus those real wire wheels really set the car off. I would have never known about the roof replacement if you had not said anything. Just a awesome job of replacing that. I do think this unit will be sold instantly! Not a bad price for a car of this calibur and condition. You just don't see Cadillac's like this anymore. Just a awesome unit Anthony!!!

    I’m doing a deal now with ANTHONY Now& it’s not gonna be my last deal with him, super nice person and really knows his stuff I’ll probably be getting my car in probably 7 to 10 working days, but I feel so confident that I will be getting a fine automobile, and he answered every question I had and even threw in a couple extra things that I wanted done, I’m very very impressed with Anthony & after I receive my vehicle I’ll let everybody know and I’m sure I’ll be 100% satisfied !! Its great dealing with. A person who cares !!

    Very good example Anthony. I laughed when you said Bro-Ham. That is the way they pronounce it around here. Me personally, it is Cadillac Brougham. I recall the 1990-1992 era. They did make some interesting updates. The only thing I hated and still did are the headlights. I still say it should be a quad design in Euro form. The one thing I will say is GM and Cadillac used to pay attention to detail back in the day during this time. I miss that. I like the color too. The price is significant.

    Oh, Anthony, you've done it again! Another fine example of a BROHM DELL-uh-GAHNS (I threw the correct pronunciation in, just for the record. Not that hard to say, IMO.). Anyway, I'm looking forward to more!

      broam dell-ay-gons (d'Elégance - there's an accent over the second "e", although Cadillac doesn't use it)

    Love this cah! Reminds me of my Lincoln town car.......sold the cherry brown and gold to my brother and not even a year later, it looked like shit, when I had it it was always waxed, leather done right, chrome and wheels sparkling, I wouldn't mind scooping up another luxurious boat just for the ride, even my wife likes these, although she's more of a muscle restomod, but my all time fave is a 69 Lincoln continental, both remod and original but all the 61- 69 Lincoln including the Mark 111 LOVE THEM!!! Greetings from the central valley of California.

    You always have the best looking vehicles from back in a better time. The cars now have more features but they have no character. I think that Cadillac is gorgeous. I wished I would do what you do for a living. I sell cars actually but at a dealer, Just used cars nothing classic like this. One of these days when I have enough money I’m going to come see you and buy one.
