I work in the internal build division at Ricoh, and can anonymously reveal that the version 5 (we are skipping 4 because it is unlucky number in Japan) will have a hot shoe mountable umbrella.
Lovely pics. I know the GR III is not weather resistant. Have rain and dust ever been an issue with your GR III? Any preventive measures you take? Thanks.
I like your tip of using the rainy days to shot at people. I'm still too afraid to shot at them, but never tried to do it while it's raining. Also, awesome shots as always man. Great work. I think it might rain tomorrow so I might just try it :)
Great video! I never get tired of looking at your moving images and photos again and again. You took beautiful pictures on a rainy day because, among other things, you understand your artistic craft and how to use the camera so well. You also have an aesthetic sense for motifs that are a feast for the/my eyes. Thanks and greetings from 'far away'.
Im just new to photography. I am just using an old digicam for my street photography. I just want that vintage feel on my photos. But for your camera, just want to know what is your setting. Is it on auto mode?
I live in Korea, and I am planning to travel to Japan next month. I am planning to travel by purchasing one of GR3 and GR3X. Can you recommend which one would be better?
Depends on what you like more, a 28mm (GR III) or 40mm (GR IIIx). Do you feel comfortable taking photos up close to your subjects or do you like more space between you and your subjects. Personally, I'd go with the GR iiix when going to an unfamiliar place.
I was wondering if you raised ISO on purpose to get a filmic look with the grain? Or was it simple in Auto mode and dialed in that high iso? I usually got for a lower A and raise SS a lot to compensate with the lowest ISO possible, but i get very low Grain and really sharp images.
Nah. This little rain even if the water got on the camera it will be fine. Doesnt matter the gear has weather seal ornot. People are too worry and thinking too much. Things dont spolit so easily. However. If you’re unlucky. It can/will spolit anytime. Doesnt matter it got wet ornot. Back then handphone/watches dont even have water resistant or weather sealed. We use them in the rain too. And most of the time. There is no problem too. So. Why are people so careful or scare with their camera. Lol.
It’s good a Ricoh in the rain as so light it’s absolutely fine with an umbrella
after I saw this video, decided to buy all your Lightroom presets ! Fantastic works, thanks.
Another great video! I'm coming to Japan on the 5th of November, flights booked and everything. Can't wait!
Nice, happy for you! Only a few weeks left
loved the vibes in the beginning!
Thanks!
Excellent video! You got some amazing images from a pretty quiet day on the street.
I like your phots😊
That’s how RICOH is planning to sell the GR IV WR (the camera + a ‘rain edition’ umbrella) 😉
Hahaha

Lots of ninja moments in this one. Does the GR always get such good focus on the drive-by (walk-by) shots? It’s got crazy reflexes with its focus.
I use a lot snap focus, setting my distance before and shoot

Good luck for your next rainy photography session 😊
Shoot their images..don't shoot the people..lol
Your camera is also very good :)
Enjoyed the video - thanks. Can I ask what sharpening settings you apply in LR?
Actually I don't change it, the sharpening is by default. Thanks for your comment
🔥🔥
Hello, I was surprised to see you using the camera on a rainy day. Cool! By the way, do you use a lens protection filter on your camera? Thank you.

the next model with flash, please! :D
What a wonderful place, and a wonderful video! Are the shots with the Ricoh in this vid all SOOC jpegs? Thanks
Thanks! No they’re all edited with my presets available on my website ;)
@@adriensanguinetti Thanks, Adrien!
Any tipps for a film simulation recipe that works well in these gray overcast light conditions?
Don’t much about film simulation since I am edited all my photos with my presets

Love your color grading in photos
Thanks! they’re all edited with my presets available on my website ;)
had to throw it away after that !
Ciao belle foto 👍 posso chiederti che tipo di simulazione pellicola hai usato? Grazie
Hey Adrien, big fan of your style! quick question tho, do you use auto settings when shooting with your gr3? or do you manually adjust?
Any thoughts on presets for Capture One?
What did you use to shoot the videos in this?
❤ I need to take out my Ricoh in the rain around Tokyo
You should!
What camera do you use for the video?

Yes I don't mind the grain and sometimes prefer have more in focus with a higher Fstop and some noise
Do you shoot in shutter priority mode for these types of situations?
Great video, super moody.
Glad you enjoyed it
How is the best export photo for Instagram ? I mean on quality…
Thank you 😃
I love the idea of using the rain to subvert anxiety, but it only works if you get rainy days😂 haven't had one in months where i live
Would you go for the Ricoh gr 3 or the Gx9? Thank you
Never tried the gx9 so I can't tell ^^'
can this shoot raw?
Of course ;)
Always use protection
@@gordomts7204 hahaha good sense of homur. 🤙🏻
which film simulation did you use?

amazing video! Do you usually stay with shutter priority so you can get those walking shots or just have the min. ss set to 1/400?
日本的色调!拍的很棒👍我在日本生活学习过8年。
Can I use your preset in iphone?
Is that using preset or straight out of camera.?
Edited with my Presets ;)
I think people criticizing X o Y about this camera is just out of their minds. It's absolutely incredible in so many aspects.
do your lightroom presets work on lightroom mobile? I mainly edit on my phone and would like to purchase them! Thanks in advance!
Yes they do. Everything is included in the pack to use the presets on any version of lightroom including Mobile
awesome thanks!

Dud if you ever want to visit Germany let me know !
What did you use to shoot the video? Just your phone?
phone and GoPro for the POV footage
RICOH GR III Make a nice video ?? ho good sony A7IV vs RICOH GR III ?
Im just gonna rent this camera for my trip to japan
Good call 👍🏻
@velafresh if you do it would be a good idea to pick up a couple of spare batteries. The battery life on the GR111 is shocking!
What settings do you use? They look great
I shoot raw and edit all my pictures using my presets 👍🏻
对环境的把控还是非常不错的,赞一个,但有一些片子,个人感觉可以更近一点,再近一点。
😍👍👍👍
all edited I assume? Or in camera recipe?
Ricoh GR IV when
No idea 🤷🏼♂️😅
@@adriensanguinetti haha I know I know. I've been spamming it on everything Ricoh Pentax posts lol
Adrien, do you have “noises” with auto iso, if it for example 3200-4000 ? My pictures not so clean at Av and auto iso…
I do and I don’t really mind. I don’t apply any noise reduction either
