Very informative video! I have owned my Greenworks 21" electric mower since 2019 and it has performed very well. As he states in the video, it is important to clean the grass from the underside after every cutting and I like to use an old, one-inch putty knife to clean off the grass.
I found a stiff cylindrical plastic bristles brush with a long handle for cleaning toilets at Dollar Tree too use, it works great! Take a pan of hot water mix some detergent with it and scrub and rinse away, just stay away from the center hub, although I am sure they must have the motor sealed against moisture. Rinse the brush when your done and hang it up till next summer
THANK YOU !!! Just got one of these and used it once and loved it, but did not clean it after, so just went to use it again and it had all this muck I should have cleaned out after the first use. So really appreciate the video, love the mower and now I know how to maintain it !!! Thanks for taking the time to explain it all !!!
Hi guys, I was just outside cleaning my new ego lawn mower on. April 8th 2024.....day of the eclipse. I used just regular hot water and drill brush under the deck. And it works very good!!!....and it's real fast. Just let the brush and your drill do the work and wipe clean.....I got my drill brush years ago from Amazon. Just wanted to share. Takecare.
Can these be stored without the battery in it outside in a shed throughout winter? I couldn't find anything online about this. What i found was the battery should be fully charged and drained periodically throughout winter. How would you go about this if you're not mowing due to snow?
The motor does not run smoothly and sometimes it jams during cutting, is there something that must be checked and replaced? Your assistance will be appreciated.
I have a electric lawnmaster 2000 lawnmower and the motor is giving a funny sound when it is cold, what could be the cause. Am i not damaging something.

God bless this man today thanks bruh I needed this 1🙏
Thank you so much!!!!
Using a screw driver will scratch the paint and invite rust, use plastic putty knives and plastic brushes will work without damaging the paint.

It's a plastic body what are you talking about
@@krisyeoThe older ones are metal. Mine is metal but I’ve seen newer ones that are plastic.

Do these use oil that needs to be changed?
thank you very useful video
Thanks!
Good video. Should the wheels also be lubricated from time to time?
The manual doesn't say to lubricate and I have never had issues not lubricating. So should be fine with no lubrication.

What size are the screws for the motor cover ? Needs replacing. Thanks!
Hey there, question, do you have any idea how to remove the plate to be able to get to the rectifier to replace it?
Using a screwdriver, you scratch the paint. Use a stiff brush to keep the remaining grass from drying on the paint.
Requesting your assistance
No water??
So the whole point of the "mulching plug" is just to cause the impeller to blow the air back into the mower blade? Wow - that makes sense now. thanks
when I seen the screwdriver come out to clean the underside... that's when I moved on to another how to video
so don't mow over "big humps" - hmmm.... great vid.
i hosed it down, hope that's okay lol
Your ways of cleaning the mower is poor, you need to wash the under with water to get rid of all the dust, you did not do that in this video.
My manual says Do not use water to clean. Pretty sure this is standard for electric mowers (battery or AC line).
That's what I wanted to know if I could use some water. Think I'll squirt with cleaner and wipe with rag
