Brian....I am trying to make a get back whip for me. I was reviewing your comments but still a bit confused! So how long does each of my colors of paracord need to be using 2 color scheme? And the total length can only be 36". I will put a monkey fist towards the end also. Please help! I've been trying to find an answer for a while with no luck! !!

How long are the strings ?

Usually 4-6 inches in finished length. It's a personal choice if you're making your own. I follow the longer the whip, the longer the strands.

for the Get back it self for a two to three feet one
