I have learned SO much for your videos from what to and not to feed my dog, bad ingredients you don't want in dog foods, enrichment activities, and a whole lot more. I have found so much value in your videos, that i am now helping out my friend balance out theirs dog's meals, so they can live a happier, healthier life. I feel very confident in my ability to discern what is good for my dog and to help guide my friend on THEIR dog's personalized and unique life. I love how you don't tell us what to feed our dogs and make suggestions instead, and frequently say that " i'm not telling you what to feed your dog, i'm giving you helpful suggestions that inspire and lead you to want a happier and healthier life for YOUR dog. " to put it simple. THANK YOU SO MUCH Rachel. ❤ to Marlowe, Bentley, Finnegan, Wally, Haven, and all the foster puppies.
Do you have any videos that go very in depth on how to adjust your older dog to a new puppy? How long should we implement certain habits/ rules? I recently had my 7 year old dog nip at my new puppy over a toy, we removed toys completely for now and only have designated toy time for each dog when they have no visibility of each other. How long should I keep this up? What other things should be adjusted to achieve having a calm older dog and not traumatizing a pup?
Love, love, love this video!! Thank you so much for fostering! Would you be able to do a 24 hour routine with a litter of puppies? How you rotate them for crating, feeding, etc?
@RachelFusaro. Hi Rachel! Just found out my dog is pregnant and they are not supposed to have calcium, but its in every dog food I look at. She eats Ollie and can no longer give it to her while pregnant. By chance do you have any ideas what I can feed her? Vet tells me brands that are horrid. I am freaking. Thanks~
Correct me if I'm wrong but dogs need calium regardless of whether or not they're pregnant. You're only supposed to feed less of it like not giving calcium supplements during this time.
@ Not supposed to have any added calcium and she is on prenatal’s, but the breeders told me no. She gets little bit of cheese for prenatal vitamin, but nothing else because it causes bones to harden prematurely and eclampsia. The meat does have calcium in it, 5mg and meat is all she has been willing to eat so far. They are not people, we need calcium more of it. No supplements are allowed.
